First, it was easy to get a hand basket or cart. Plus, they were clean and unbroken. Second, all the merchandise was stocked neatly and in some order. It was not disheveled and scattered all over the floor, as is customary in many other locations. Third, there were enough staff to take care of the store. My wait in the checkout line was minimal and while I browsed the store, a worker even asked me if she could help me find something. That has never happened in a Dollar Tree. ...ever...and I have shopped at their locations all over the nation. So, this visit was worth 5 stars and it will be the yardstick by which I compare other Dollar Tree locations.

I browsed around here and found many essential items that are less cost that at a retail giant. Ollie's is one of those that buys what other stores can't sell. They have just about everything. Book section for all ages, snack foods. Bath and body, laundry, toys, however they have very limited to selection when it comes to school supplies. Ollie's is definitely one of those places to go if you're on a budget or just wanting buy reasonably priced items.

I went straight online and looked at my order history which showed two trunks had been "cancelled" and three had shipped. When I looked more closely at the shipment notification, I noticed it only listed one. (I admit to not having read all the way down and only looked at the expected delivery date.) So I was very happy with the item I found, but am very disappointed with the lack of communication -- even inconsistencies in their order history. I've reached out to customer service, but really if they had let me know I couldn't get all five, I would have cancelled my order.

They usually have a good amount of seasonal items. They had their fall and Halloween items out and displayed and separated by season and holidays and we noticed that some seasonal and holidays items are repeats from last year. They try to provide new and fresh items for the current year which is nice but they were a few items we saw last year that we were hoping they would bring back but didn't. Either way we had a great time browsing and looking at the displays. My only gripe is I wanted a certain tablecloth and they had limited selection and availability.

We usually have to stop in here because my daughters cheer leading gym is down the street and she either forgot some socks or a hair scrunchy and it's 655pm and her practice starts at 7pm. So my wife or me is usually ripping and roaring through the aisles to grab something and make it to her practice in time. Solid location. Workers seem nice. It does the trick for what we need usually.

Service outside of the lady at the jewelry counter was terrible. The store was an absolute mess needing massive recovery and the carpets looked like they haven't been cleaned in a long time. Not even vacuuming them. Belk is such a great company and the need to invest more payroll and attention to cleanliness and service at this store. I really appreciate the customer service from the lady in jewelry she was so nice and very helpful. The store environment was dreadfully hot, understaffed and poorly managed.
