I took it back to have someone explain away how they were sure it worked before they sold it to me and made me have to pull teeth just to get my money back! Fast forward about 7 months to a year) So my wife's father dies and she ended up with a few of his items that was hard for her to look at for obvious reasons! So she decides to pawn and not sale the items as she hoped to maybe bare them again! I remember the bad experience here but paid it no mind and decided she would pawn it at this establishment! So she goes in with her current id and pawns her item with no problem! So today we go in to retrieve her item(this is also after making hundreds of dollars of payments to hold it for us) (plus late fees) They tell us we can't buy our items back because the address on her id (THE SAME ID THEY EXCEPTED WITH NO ISSUES WHEN THEY TOOK IN THE ITEM) does not match!!! They never explained this to us of course if they had we would not have left the item there!! THEY STOLE FROM US!!! After I cuss everybody out lol the old guy said I'm tough and asked me to come behind the counter to fight knowing damn well police and or a shot to my face is inevitable lol So I asked him to come outside to have a real man respectable fight and of course his scary ass declined!! One of the nicest stores I've been into. Greeted by the owner, Tommy. Had a nice chat with him about collecting stories, both him and I. I have collected comics for 65 years and about 10 years ago started selling parts of my 20,000+ collection. I did bring several books with me from 40s to 60s for Tommy to look at but I couldn't accept his offer. Great local place for collectors! And if a book is not in stock, he can order it quickly. He didn't answer so she called someone else that knew the guy that had the booth and they figured out the price was cheaper than the price I was willing to pay for the hat. I go to the peddlers malls as a way to relieve stress and I always enjoy seeing items I haven't seen or can't find. I would highly recommend a new cut peddlers mall.

A vintage store with a little bit of everything - dishware, dolls, music records, model cars and trains, jewelry, and lots of other knick-knacks and collectibles. We had a fun time browsing the selection, both to shop and just to explore the items as if it were a museum. It is, in a sense. There are several rooms of many many shelves. They appear to be generally sorted by vendor rather than theme, although model train parts has its own separate room. I'm sure this is somewhat necessary in a place with a rotating, grab bag nature, but I do wish it attempted to be a bit more coherent and organized, especially for those looking for specific types of items. Almost everything is locked in a glass case, so you'll have to go to the front or track down another employee to unlock anything for you. When we went, there was only 1 person at the front busy ringing up customers, so this took quite a while. This set-up definitely makes sense considering how many tiny items this place houses, but it again supports the idea of a more organized system, so you don't have to drag employees across the store to retrieve very similar items. There are several small reasons I leave a lower review than usual for me: the lack of organization, lack of availability of employees, lack of AC (there are occasional fans to fight off the heat and stuffiness), and the musty smell of the room that the large model train is exhibited in. But the biggest problem I have is that this store doesn't seem to limit what vendors offer or consider what is appropriate to be sold here in the year 2023. In addition to scattered offensive Black caricature toys and Civil War themed board games, I quite literally stood in shock to see they were selling slave shackles. These are in a room with modern superhero cutouts for kids to pose in and modern toys outside of a case. These are in the same case as Hot Wheelz. This is not appropriate or okay. These belong in a museum or some other educational facility if anything - not to be sold for amusement in an antique store, in the heavily kid-coded room of all things. This put a very bad taste in my mouth and made my whole party very uncomfortable. I can't see how they wouldn't for anyone else, especially any Black patron. This in itself makes me give a lower review, which I hate doing for a small business. I am giving the shop the benefit of the doubt that these inclusions are out of lack of thought rather than malice. However, I hope and expect to see them gone by my next visit and after they read and respond to this review. This shop needs to consider what message it is sending to its patrons when displaying such inappropriate items and for profit nonetheless.

My youngest son who is thirteenth years old has been collecting pokemon cards since he was in 4th…read moregrade, the first time we come in the store very easy conversation and a helpful staff had an awesome time even though we were there only in there for twenty minutes, before we left he had said that he was going to bring in his collection of Pokemon cards the next time, the staff said they would be more then happy to check it out. Today about a week later we show up with his collection and we set there for 45 mins to an hour with one of the employees trading conversations about what he had and what his plan was with his collection to carryout until later years throughout his life, now myself I know the basics of the game I've played a couple of times with him, he gets a laugh out of it he doesn't get aggervated is very helpful on the game.
