And then comedian Nate Bargatze strides up to you as George Washington, just like in the now viral SNL sketch. He puts a hand on your shoulder reassuringly. He replies: "Nobody knows." So it was with that confidence that my husband and I strode to the cash register, supremely mystified if we would be asked to pay $50 or $250 for the three pairs of kids shoes and one pair of adult sneakers. (Thankfully, the bill came to closer to $100.) We checked out the new Zappos outlet on its opening weekend, when it was advertised shoppers would get an additional 30% off their purchase. And we found an outlet with a decent number of shoes for adults and kids, plus several racks of clothes as well. I was in a bit of a rush, so we didn't take too long to look, mostly zeroing in on what we were there to find. This outlet was hopping, but everything seemed well organized and clean. The only confusion came from the prices, with signs saying there were even more discounts than the 30% off. I would definitely come back here when I had more time to shop.

Kinda lives up to the local joke of "there a wide open field they will probably build a dollar general there". However this is a rather large, nicely stocked and upgraded dollar general. Might actually be the nicest one I've seen. I actually pass this location up quite a bit as it is in route between my house and my 2nd oldest daughters cheer gym. So I kept an eye out as they were building it and finally stopped in the other day. I was kinda surprised to see they actually had a nice sized grocery option including frozen and refrigerated goods. Which is kinda nice because where it is located there really isn't too many close options for a quick bread and milk grab for the locals. Each vendor has an area with a marked tag and of someone buys something from that section then the seller gets the profit agreed upon between them and and the mall. These locations Are plentiful in Louisville. This particular one is located in the hillview portion of Louisville just off Preston highway right before you get to the bullitt county line. Rather large location compared to other ones. I've been here several times over the years to do some bargain shopping or browsing. A lot of the items in these stores will give you nostalgic feels. My most recent visit was to help my father get a Mother's Day gift for my mom as he bought a rocking chair for there front porch and needed my vehicle to transport it. Overall all peddlers mall are cool to search through. Neat idea that evidently is successful as there are a whole bunch of locations in the Louisville area. I have a few family friends and relatives who have had booths at different locations over the years and they seemed to do well with it. So seems like a win win situation.

Goodwill store that I've dropped off several donations to in the past as it's near my second oldest…read moredaughters cheer practice and that's a good time for us to run some errands while waiting for her practice to end. Yesterday I walked inside this location for the first time as my oldest daughter wanted to "browse" for shirts. Which we all know teenagers don't "browse" they "want". The store itself is I'd say on the medium side to smaller side. It is super cramp and tight in there. If you commit down an aisle you have to see your way through. There isn't an detours or turning around it's so tightly packed in there. Selection is what it is. It's a DAV that as many know they work with what donations they receive. So you kinda have to walk in with an open mind unless clothes shopping. But even then I wouldn't anticipate being to specific. All in all a typical DAV store. This one is kinda smallish or maybe it just felt that way just because it was anxiety inducing cramped in there.
