The sign was not lit and there were no lights in front. Inside is a big space with long tables where items are on. I was not sure if it's just because it was already evening that many had gone through the items earlier in the day but it was very disorganized. Boxes and many other things were in disarray, making it difficult to search for items. At some point, we even found it hard to identify the items we were looking at. Some parts of a set were misplaced or missing.

Love this place! We just discovered it through a Google search. It's not an antique store, but…read morerather a place where retail displays go for a second chance at life. From the moment you walk in, you can look 360 degrees around you and find all kinds of interesting things. Pictures, figures, frames, mannequins, signs, furniture, and the list goes on. The people there are extremely friendly and willing to help find what you may have come for, if they have it. They have wish lists and will keep you in mind if they come across that odd item you just need to have. This isn't like any antique or home decor place you've been to. This place is a feast for the senses. We ended up leaving with 2 signs, an old stained glass window, and 4 display figures. We'll be going back soon since they get stuff in frequently. I was an hour and half south of us but well worth the trip! 1/29/13 - UPDATE Apparently they are going out of buisness? We went down there on Sunday after not having visited in a while. We were sad to see signs on the outside advertising the closing. Nothing on the website gave any indication of this. We tried to inquire a number of times about their status and whether or not they were closing or moving. We got the brush off each time so who knows what they are doing. The "sale" started in November so there really isn't much of anything left. Sad. This place was great and we've bought quite a bit from them. Oh well. :(

For those unfamiliar with the process, everything it the same price, with that price going down each day until the store replenishes during the following weekly cycle. The art is always knowing which items are worth paying the price on the first day and which will likely persist later in the week so you can snag them on a cheaper day. I stopped by on a Saturday and got a $45 bag of specialty protein powder, a couple good things worth $30 a piece to sell on eBay, and some top-notch grooming products, each for only $7. This particular store has some great items, mostly Amazon returns though I did see some other items that imply there might also be undeliverable mail or other remainder resales. While many items are boxed, they have a place in the store where they will open the boxes for you to see if it's something you'll want before you buy. Knowing what day to go depends on what you're looking for: if you want to get good electronics or nice housewares for reasonable prices, going the first day of the cycle (Friday) is your best bet. If you are just casually looking for good deals, I recommend Monday or Tuesday since items are only a few bucks and you're almost certain to find something that piques your interest. I have rarely had much success on the final pre-reloading day, though you can always give it a shot to see if something catches your eye. Service was good and check-out was very fast, the joys of everything being the same price. Lots of lot parking, and the store was generally clean too, which is nice since stores of this nature can get messy quickly. All that said, this isn't a Target where you're going to get the perfect item right away, it's more of a treasure hunt: you may find an amazing deal, you may leave empty-handed. Go into it with an adventurous spirit and you're sure to have a great time! The fact that I came straight here after a visit to somewhat-close-by Discount Depot provides a good point of comparison: while this place has a fair number of bins, you can search through everything thoroughly in about 20 minutes due to its size. While prices are fairly standard for this kind of store, they certainly did not have much on the $10 day (Fri/Sat) that merited spending $10 on. Indeed, most of the boxes here are wrapped up so tight with no labels whatsoever that you can't really be sure what you're getting at all. A gentleman informed me that you could take boxes up front to be checked, though how manageable of an approach is that when each bin has a hundred mystery boxes? A better approach would be for them to open them, write on the side what it is, and put it in the bins, though maybe that's just not worth it to them. All things considered, while I might swing by again if I happened to be in the area (especially on one of their cheaper days), it's not worth going out of your way for. If you want a much better volume of options (most of which you can actually see what you're getting), head down the road for Discount Depot. I went shopping for a wreath and materials associated for it with my infant. After spending more…read morethan half an hour and $58, I realized that the cart could not be taken out of the store. There were no big plastic bags for larger items and I couldn't carry them out and my baby at the same time. I provided this feedback to the manager who didn't care that my items were falling out and told me it wasn't her problem. I decided to return the items because she was rude and there was no one at the register for at least 10 minutes when I didn't chose a self check out. She told me that people steal carts and told me to leave my baby in the car and then grab the purchase. If there is a problem with carts being stolen, why would I put my child in danger as I go back to the store for bags? Then, she couldn't return 58$ because it was over her allowed amour of $50. I stayed for another 45 minutes as she called someone to authorize this return. This is my last time shopping at dollar tree. Improve customer service if you want customers to spend money in your store.
