The Paris Market is essentially like an antique shop, museum, and classy cafe all came together at once. It has a perfect vibe and aesthetic that is honestly very calming when you've been rushing around the streets of Savannah prior to walking in the door. I highly recommend getting any flavor of latte (hot or iced) as well as their incredible Parisian hot chocolate. Both were delicious and actually worth the $6/$7 price tag! When I went to the register the Manager was very nice and advised I could get a credit on what I purchased at another location of Hobby Lobby. To just go in with the two receipts one for the fabric and one for the total that is charged to your card. Also surprised that they give bags here for free as there other location in SC does not. I recently discovered Bullstreet Estate Sales & Consignments when I was driving by and saw the…read more"open" sign outside. I just moved into a new apartment in the area and was in the market for some used items or antiques when I popped in -- I was able to find exactly what I wanted. For a consignment shop, they have a ton of great stuff and the layout and space is not over crowded, so it makes it easy to navigate and picture how they might look in your space at home. I was only really looking for a desk, but walked out of there with a bookshelf and an ottoman that I love. I had looked everywhere for the perfect desk and found a retro MacTable that is big, has a great silhouette and fits perfectly in my office. The ottoman I found had been repurposed with a southwester red print which I really like and the book shelf was incredible with sliding glass doors. The reason I was able to come out of the shop with 3 items instead of just 1 was because everything was actually reasonably priced. A lot of times antique stores are SO expensive that that items you really like feel out of reach, but Bullstreet had prices that I thought were reasonable and fair. Finally, the service was great. I don't own a truck or van, so the person making the sale offered delivery for a low cost since I was only about a mile away. They delivered all three items the same day and helped me move them up my insane staircase. My shopping experience at Bullstreet Estates was about 2 months ago, but I find myself poking my head in there every week or two just to see what else they have... hoping to find some more treasures next time I visit.

The store has a huge variety of items from household goods to books, snacks, and random finds you wouldn't expect. It definitely feels like one of those places where you have to take your time and dig a little to find the best deals. Prices seemed really good overall, and I can see why people enjoy shopping here, especially if you're looking to save money or just like bargain hunting. Even though we left empty-handed this time, I'd come back and give it another shot!

My original plan was to look at their book selection but when I walked in I decide to do a full lap around the entire store. Ollie's is pretty large, think mini warehouse. It reminds me of Big Lots but more organized and on a bigger scale. Home goods, decor, books, beauty products and food. You can find plenty of deals here. I only purchased a few word search books as their overall book selection was not impressive. There were 2 cashiers working and they moved very quickly. The lady that checked me out greeted me as I walked up and even gave me the price of an item that didn't have a sticker to make sure I was willing to pay that amount. Overall, Ollie's seems like a good place if you're into bargain shopping. I would definitely come back for their decor and home goods. Hopefully in the future their book selection gets a little better.
