Leaving for the last time. Avoid at all cost unless you want to leave feeling unwelcome. Sorry for being white.

Over crowded, rude as crap employees (especially the ones bring product onto the floor from the back), customers are entitled and act like crack fiends when a new rack comes out. Also when did it become normal to sell "new items" at goodwill and Mark up furniture to $100+ it's goodwill not ikea. I'll stick to Wilmington island goodwill and East victory drive. This place has lost me for good. Sorry you're working on 4th of July but that's not our fault. Just take a trip and feel how unwanted you can feel in a place. I don't need to pay more for items than what it originally sells for. Same lilo and stitch throw blanket at 5 below new for $5 and you're pricing it at $6.99 nah I'm good and furniture beat to crap and back for $99.99 no thank you.

Savannah did not disappoint in the Goodwill situation. Great store and I scored with a few pieces of clothing I could not live without. Bery well organized and plenty of product. I reecommend this place highly.

I stacked up all these broken dishes. Every single one has sharp and filthy chips and they're trying to sell them.

I love to thrift but this store sucks. Probably one of the worst Goodwills I've ever been in. I was shocked at how many severely chipped and sharp edged plates and bowls they were trying to sell. Not only is this dangerous because of the sharpness but also because of germs they get stuck in the cracks. You could tell none of these broke in the store because the exposed porcelain was filthy.

I found a couple of things.

This was a nice Goodwill. Helpful and friendly employees. I found three hand towels and a nice pair of clogs. They stay open until 9pm on Saturdays.

Poppin' tags and looking for a come up at the local Goodwill. Tommy Bahama sweater, under $5.

Before Thanksgiving of 2022, I went to Goodwill for help in finding a job. I have a disability and…read moreI was hoping that they could help me find work in a different field. I went to the classes they offered several times and I did my best to do what was asked of me but nothing ever came of work. They have jobs of their own on offer and they partner with local companies looking to hire. I have applied for so many positions with only two interviews. I have extensive previous work experience in many fields. I was told that they wanted to give me a Google scholarship for a certification. The lady handling my case said that she just needed to get her boss' approval. Then it all went silent. Never heard back. I went back to the old way of looking for a job myself on Indeed (another waste of time) and forgot about that. One day I saw on Indeed that there were jobs hiring at Goodwill. I was frustrated and ripped off a complaint on their website. Mr McCloud wrote to me and apologized. He offered me a gas voucher to come attend their next job fair (I had gotten to the point that I could not afford to waste gas anymore because of no money) I went and applied for jobs with them and the job partners. Nothing, silence. While I was there, I was told that the lady handling my case had left the organization. (No one called me to say "this is so and so, I'm taking over your case. Do you need help in your job search ?) I asked about the Google IT cert possibilities and was given a name to contact . Director of outreach ministries. I sent her an email. I explained my situation. I got one call from her that I missed. I called her back four times, leaving messages on two calls. I never got a response. I would not be so mad and feel abandoned if it weren't for the fact that their mission is supposed to help people like me with barriers to employment. I never asked for this disability to happen and when I reached out for help. I got a fifteen dollar gas card. Nothing more. Miss Gloria is a sweet lady, she's the bright spot of the whole place IMHO

It would be understandable that they were my first stop in shopping for the perfect gift. Well, last Saturday I decided to pay them a visit. When I walked into the store there were three salespeople standing by chatting to each other which was fine because I was the only one who had walked into the store and no other customers were there at that time. Two of the salespeople saw me, but did not acknowledge me; however, the third person, David immediately greeted me and disconnected himself from the group to warmly welcome me. As I gazed into a few cases, I could see David positioning himself to grab keys while he exchanged some light banter with me. All of this was something that I really appreciated. As he took out a few pieces from the case, I felt as if David had the patience and attention of someone who truly cared about me and my business despite whether or not he knew or believed that I could either afford or would buy anything in that store. This would probably seem like a strange concept for some people; however, I have experienced treatment like that in more times than I care to explain. Yet, David was gracious. I told him that I wanted to check a couple of places before I made my decision. David did not seem annoyed nor did he give me any indication that made me feel as if I had wasted his time. He gave me his card and thanked me for coming to visit. After comparing the quality and price of one other place, I called David to ask him if that piece of jewelry was still available. I asked him to pull them aside and yesterday I returned to make that purchase. Ironically, the other two sales people who were in the store during my first visit was there to witness me paying for the items they probably thought I never would. If ever you are in the market to buy jewelry, go see David at the mall location.
