I bought simple items online, they were flat, and only weights 7 pound total, SOMEHOW they would not match up both my orders and ship all six items in one box! I had just left another nearby goodwill when I came across this one. I was surprised that it was an outlet since there was no mention in the title from yelp but it was fine because I am familiar with Goodwill Outlets. If you are not, they are pay by the the pound centers. Also referred to as the "bins" because you have to sort through bins to find anything. I've gone to the bins in South Florida before and it's a feeding frenzy. Pure chaos. Imagine women fighting over a shirt. Thats what my local bins are like. This was not that. There were a total of 4 people in there the whole time I was there. I didn't have to fight anyone for anything. I wasn't there for hours of rotations before I found anything good. I got to search at my leisure. The staff was nice but the place was pretty quiet. I would definitely return to this location on my next visit to Savannah. read more

Just visiting Savannah but this Goodwill is neat and fairly organized with prices much better than Connecticut!

At some point, this location went from being a retail store to an outlet center. If you are not familiar with Goodwill outlet centers, they are last chance locations where all merchandise is purchased by the pound, and is presented in large shallow bins that you must sort through. The price at this location is $1.39 per pound for housewares, toys, clothing and shoes. Outlet/distribution centers are few and far between, in my experience, so you should always take the opportunity to check them out. This outlet is smaller than most that I have visited, but it is surprisingly well organized. Clothing, bedding and household softlines (towels, drapes, shower curtains, etc...) are all in one area, toys and shoes are in bins in their own section. If you love the thrill of the hunt, this is your type of thrift store. We found several pairs of shoes, including a cool, vintage bowling pair, and a nice pair of Guess brand heels. We also scored great Ralph Lauren and Nautica shorts, some extra long drapes for my daughters condo, two Halloween costumes, some vintage fabric, several pieces of vintage clothing and an awesome denim jacket! If you do not mind digging, you can come away with fantastic bargains! read more

E-commerce is destroying it for the people that shop there. I watch them pick new goods before they bring anything out for store shoppers. Why would you do this? I thought Goodwill was a chance for the less fortunate to acquire awesome things, they wouldn't necessarily have access to, at affordable prices. The only reason you should ever go to this Goodwill is for the treasure trove of furniture that lives in the backroom. Everything else will probably give you scabies, but at least you can Lysol the shit out of the furniture. I had a couch I got from here. It was huge, long, and awkward. My neighbor had a goddamn Escalade, and that couch still hung out the back on the way back to our apartment. I took that couch everywhere with me. It lived through nacho cheese stains, cigarette holes, and belligerent cats. I'm pretty sure there were blood stains of unknown origins. The cushions would sometimes fall out from under you while you were sitting on them, which is either witchcraft or physics, I'm not quite sure. Anyway, I finally threw it away one day. But it lasted for years, and it came to me pretty beat up already. The nice furniture is all pretty cheap, under $100 for the most part. They don't deliver, and you should probably bring a truck with you when you buy things because I'm pretty sure someone will steal it if you leave to get a bigger vehicle. Rest in peace, couch. This Goodwill has one of the poorest selections of items of any thrift store I've ever been in, and I recently found out why. Most of the items received by this store are sent elsewhere and they only get back what is unsold (so the crap). I stop in this Goodwill at least once a week, and yet to find anything of significant value or that I want to bring home to use. I'll occasionally leave with a book or two or a couple VHS tapes for the toddler, rarely do I spend more than $5 (very abnormal when it comes to me and thrift stores). This GW is in super close proximity to the Humane Society Thrift Shop which does have the good stuff. read more

This goodwill outlet is amazing! The staff are super kind and very helpful. If you're willing to dig, you will absolutely not be disappointed. At $1.39 per pound, (and even less for glassware and books), you're not going to break the bank, either. I found some super nice, name-brand clothing items, and a good handful of things with original tags still on them! One dress I found for my mom was retailed at $68, and from a local Savannah boutique. At $1.39 a pound, I couldn't have paid any more than a quarter for it. This Goodwill outlet is kind of far out, but definitely worth the trek. I will be returning! read more

Air was not working so was very hot and Humid in there. Lot of clothes but like most Goodwill's you have to go thru everything to find your size:/ will check it out when weather cools off. read more

About your average Goodwill in terms of size and quality. A small room in back with some large furniture (maybe 6-8 couches and recliners). Kids clothes aren't sorted by age or gender, so newborn - 5T all crammed in together and hard to sort. Some books and records. Wouldn't probably stop here again. read more

The selection of clothing is large, but you need time and patience to sort through the massive selections. Be sure you ask about their color code sale (the Plastic Line that hold the size label, not the label). The prices are great when you are on a tight budget. Looking forward to my next visit. read more

I'm from Florida & our Goodwills are so much cheaper. So I was a little disappointed to pay $4.50 a shirt but otherwise found a few goodies. Messy & disorganized but if you're a thrifter you won't be phased. read more

We did not go shopping here but made two trips to donate items. The young man that helped us both times was Donnie and he was exceptional!!! He explained to us what we could donate and items we could not with recommendations of where we could take those. He was professional and a tremendous help!
