You need to really check expiration dates, to me anything from Dec 2022 should be OK in January 2023. Upstairs has furniture and pictures. Prints of Adam Thurman who has the quirky puzzles were $120. They had target field, us bank stadium, etc for $120. I saw a cool buffalo picture for $189. 4/5 stars as cashier was this older lady who sat down and wasn't friendly and did not say thank you after my purchase. Gopher Bargain Center is part flea market, part unclaimed freight, part antique shop, part furniture store, and part complete randomness. Lawn mowers, fishing gear, bedroom sets, hot tub, flour, drain cleaner, cards, cookware, toaster ovens, Eggo waffles in strangely damaged boxes, a wrench big enough to undo the nut on the bolt that holds planet Earth together. These are merely the beginning of the delights found within this building. A trip inside will make you smile at the complete randomness of it all. Bathroom and kitchen fixtures, including the kitchen sink. You might, with enough imagination, be able to build and fully equip and furnish an entire house with the items in this store. That statement, though true at the writing of this review, may well change drastically as early as tomorrow. The Carnivore understands that there is an activity known as "scrapbooking," which he does not understand, but acknowledges the existence of. He is still stunned at the magnitude of items available at this establishment for this purpose. He figures that putting snips of things in a book pales in comparison to putting a steak in his belly, but to each, his own. There are curious smells in various parts of the store, too. some food-like, some solvent-like, some of completely unknown origins. All kidding aside, I promise you there is something here you want, or maybe even need. The entertainment value of wandering around and occasionally saying "What the hell?!?!" is worth a couple hours of your time. You just need to come here and walk around until you find it. As a side note, I believe in my heart that there are no more 75 watt incandescent light bulbs left in the store. I could, however, be wrong. Give it a try, but I would definitely be cautious about food items that are not obviously sealed, and even those, I would definitely wash the exterior of before opening. Their home office was equally uninterested in helping...I left call back messages for four people, two of them I left messages for twice, apparently everyone at this company, hides behind their voice mail...NO ONE CALLED BACK!! The first time I called I spoke with a customer service rep, who said he would call the store and call me back...NEVER heard from him, except for a terse voice message, saying the cards had been sent, and they were closing their file...apparently when you have 8,000 stores, you no longer need to worry about customer service!! Went to guest service to return my item and no hello, showed my receipt and the cashier didn't believe me that the item was in good condition, when tags were still on and never worn. I am not entitled to people saying hello to me but at least have some good customer service...Do I want to say Baxter Target is racist? Maybe? You can only buy alcoholic beverages in this separate Walmart Wine & Spirits location linked next door but an exterior store separated from the Supercenter. When I walked in, I immediately asked the cashier if the separated alcohol store was a Minnesota thing. Funny enough, she mentioned that their Florida locations allow alcohol sold inside the actual Walmart Supercenters. I said, yes as we live in Florida. Interesting. They have a good amount of beer, wine and liquor options. Lots of airplane sized liquor bottles too. Including some mixers. Snagged some high noon vodka cans, Michelada can and Twisted Tea lemonade + iced tea can. Nice and organized small boozy shop with a fair amount of options without being overwhelming. Fair prices.
