This is the kind of Target where most folks would be happy to shop at. As a result of being so large, it never feels all that crowded here. Some areas are smaller than regular stores, such as the electronics and select clothing areas. One thing they haven't scaled back on now, is cach up to electronics, which are more dedicated iPhones and laptop demos and bigger TVs. The only thing I didn't love was that the main public bathroom was out, forcing eveyone to use family bathroom next to the pharmacy. It wasn't all that clean, but I hope they've got it all sorted now. While I don't always make it out to Target, I can appreciate a good one when I see it. Just simple tricks like that can have you eating healthy at a fraction of the cost. Just know that they also have many bad things you can consume as well if you want to eat those right away. 6 packs of donuts were 4 for $1 and they had trays on top of trays of these things, because the big store just weren't moving them fast enough. That dollar could get your diabetes going in full swing! Just keep in mind that sometimes you may find a better deal at the bigger chains on certain things because they only really operate under one price. It was $1 here and $5.99 at Walmart for the same size and brand. I will add a pic later. They carry fruit, and other groceries as well as other household items that you may use on a day to day basis. It's a Japanese $1.75 values store for all things cutesy! They have many items that have a wider…read morerange of prices. If there is no price tag, assume it's $1.75. Everything else requires price conversion. There are items that you may find have a better value at the Dollar Tree. It's pretty organized, but the stock may be unpredictable. I use to get the charcoal dehumidifiers but they no longer stock it. I really like their laundry bags and kitchen bowls, plates, and saucers, which they still carry. The laundry bags do vary in quality, they use to manufacture them at a better quality. I also love their silicone molds for baking ranging from Minnie Mouse, Pooh, etc. They are opened for decent hours. I do not like their self check out because it's very sensitive. You can easily and accidentally scan an item twice. The service is great, the associates always greet you upon arrival and they're pretty knowledgeable about their stock. They also have a cute little Daiso jingle, it's hilarious!

There were points in my life when my mother would take the 4 of us kiddos and take us to the mall…read morerandomly for new clothes. Random mall runs for new clothes always meant a vacation! If it was one set... we were going to an amusement park from 7 to 11. If it was more that 1, we were going to the different peaks around Disneyland, going out of the country ( the 4 of us are still world travelers), we were going to spend time with my family and have fun with my cousins a whole week and my health conscious Mom would pretend to not see the junk we ate, or my Dad read up on a State with a lot of history, museums, and wonderful restaurants ( my fellow foodie!) and decided to take us to that state. Now TJ Maxx was the last stop on the route. That was for accessories and moreover it was for my Mom to pick up cute pieces for my Dad and herself. I came in for a simple return, and the experience was utterly humiliating and unacceptable, handled…read morepoorly by the Assistant Manager Megan A. I had purchased 2 items and paid a portion by store credit, and the rest by credit card (roughly 15% of the total by store credit and 85% by credit card). My return was about half the cost of what I paid, which was fully covered by the credit card portion. Since the item I wanted to return was fully covered by the amount I paid on my credit card, the entire refund should have gone back to my card, per standard policy and logic. However, the Assistant Manager Megan A refused to process the refund correctly, insisting on wanting to issue a new store credit for what I had originally used while only putting the remainder on my card. Her reasoning was because it was store policy. She then refused to process my refund entirely after our argument. I then went to the TJ Maxx on Memorial Dr and had completely no issues with the return, with the full amount of the item entirely on my credit card. I didn't even have to ask to do this as it was automatic. Worse than Megan A.'s obviously incorrect 'policy' was the treatment. Her tone and demeanor made me feel publicly scrutinized and humiliated while standing at the busy cashier, as if I was trying to cheat the system. I was left feeling deeply embarrassed and frustrated in front of other shoppers. This is a failure on two counts: 1. Policy Failure: The manager lacked basic understanding of how split-tender returns work when the return value is less than the credit card portion. 2. Service Failure: Treating a long-time customer with such unprofessionalism and public derision is inexcusable.

I came home and one had a huge whole in it, and the other one had its stitching come off. To make matters worse the price tag sticker of one pillow came off and the sticker read $19.99 but the price was $16.99. Same as the curtains that were priced $22.99 but under the sticker was $19.99 They tried to cover the original price with an overpriced one. I won't be returning to this store ever again.
