I don't know what happened to this store, I used to love it. Lately though everytime I go in…read moresomething is different in a way that makes me not want to shop there. It feels like the store doesn't want to sell stuff, they put limits on how much you can buy (there's signs everywhere saying limit of 3), nothing is on sale anymore (they do 30% off plates instead of 30% off kitchen) . Absolutely no thanks to all that. If I'm going to a store to buy plates, I probably also want other kitchen supplies as well. I refuse to pay full sticker price at a store like NPS where the boxes are severely damaged and where it's a 50% probability that the item is damaged. They don't do many weekly sales anymore so It's incredibly rare lately to find anything at a great price, the prices at NPS are the same on Amazon. Without the additional percentage off, it doesn't make sense to buy from NPS. The only things you can actually get a good deal on is their almost expired food.

The inventory here is made up of overstocked goods, damaged or refused shipments or even abandoned or unclaimed items. You never know what they are going to have, so each visit will be unique. This means it might be challenging to come in hoping to find something very specific, but if you're a little more flexible, you could snag some great treasures. The majority of the store appears to be clothing and household goods. There's also accessories, shoes, groceries, electronics and a little bit of furniture. My favorite part of the store is in the back corner called "Collectibles." This is where you'll find name brand clothing, handbags, watches and sunglasses. I had to restrain myself from buying $260 Jimmy Choo shoes, but they were a half size off and a little more worn that I would prefer. Most items in the store are new, but the collectible section does have pre-owned things as well.

I bet this was formerly a grocery store, meaning the interior is not giant, but they have a good mix of things. Upon first walking in, if you head to the very left of the store, you will find the cheapest stuff, some of it overstock, or more likely, expired or nearly so grocery items. A few examples: $0.25 gum or candy bars, $0.50 chips and other snacks, $1.00 cookies, nut butters, etc. Most of that is full of preservatives so you are probably safe if planning to consume right away. I nabbed a ton of gum, because what can even go bad in that, but follow your best judgment! Heading to the right from here, you will come across the standard grocery items, and many were the same price as a regular store, though still worth a look, as you never know what you'll come across. Bulk bags of flours, powdered milk and rice lie on pallets up front. Home goods live in the center, and there were some real surprises here: Instant Pots, Le Creuset stoneware sets, Keurig coffee makers, etc. Some of it is damaged or missing parts, so, like everything else in the store, do your due diligence and check it out, but there is a possibility for some real finds! Following that was some office/school supplies, baby items, toys, and finally clothing. The latter seemed to be poorer quality/no-brand as compared to the rest of the store, but it is still incredibly cheap if that is what you are looking for. They post specials on their Facebook page, so give them a follow if you live in the area.

The inventory always changes, so you don't really go in with a shopping list necessarily. NPS sells groceries, clothing, household wares-pretty much anything. I found some bath & body works lotion for $2.99 a bottle. There are designer items as well as overstocked or damaged goods. If you have the patience and the time, you can wander around and find all sorts of goodies.

I asked a customer to please move away from me and she called me a racist but nothing racist was said to her. She had security called. This dickhead with fucked up eye told me to calm down but I wasn't really pissed or excited so I told him I didn't need to calm down because I was. He told to leave, I asked to pay for the thing I wanted to buy and he told me no. We argued and he repeatedly called me stupid while walking behind me. I told him fuck you, I will defend myself. He kept repeatedly saying get out, I asked to speak to the store manager, he refused. As I got outside I turned to face him and told him not to follow me to my car. He kept getting in my face I spit on him, I felt threatened. I was wrong for spitting. He proceeded to grab my left and twist it super hard while bent over the cart return. I was trying to grab my bracelet from falling and when I tried to keep in it my grasp he kept tightening his sweaty hand on my wrist. I called the police but he was trying not to let that happen either so I screamed. He claimed I hit him 3 times, that didn't happen. The police reviewed the video and found no evidence of me hitting him 3 times. He had his hand on me for over 10 minutes. This idiot should've just taken my license plate and description and let me leave. I guarantee the cops would've showed up at my door. Prepare for a lawsuit security guy and NPS.
