They have tons of things, things that you knew about and want and things that you didn't know existed and now need. They have Japanese snacks and a limited amount of groceries, mostly drinks and ramen. They have a selection of Japanese pens! I bought one. Can't pass up a Japanese pen. Large store, well-lit. One employee to man the register, she was friendly. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. I love the imported foods like olive oil and pastas from Italy. The snack selections rivals any store's snack inventory. They have pots amd pans... and most are not Teflon. There, gym ware, all kinds of stuff...If you've not been it's worth a look. It's clean, the bathroom (men's anyway) is clean, Some of the people that works there are good at what they do... HomeGoods is the first place I will go to. I go to all different HomeGoods in Utah and do think they vary a lot, especially between layout and selection. This HomeGoods is unlike any other HomeGoods I have been to however. Technically speaking, I was able to find what I needed and get checked out. I liked a lot of the stuff in the store but one thing just absolutely shook me to my core. I am not claustrophobic, but their layout is really confusing and compact. Things are way to close together and it is hard to have a pleasant shopping experience when you are having to squeeze through the aisles. It is also easy to get lost in this store--it is so compact that the bedding and bath and lighting and everything is just kind of fused together. The checkout seems oddly tucked away in a corner instead of being by the exit of the store like all other locations. I get that it is in a mall and I don't necessarily think it is anyone's fault--they needed to make do with the space that they had...but it is not very comfortable being in this specific home goods. Maybe I just came in at a bad time, but it was so kramed that a customer knocked something over and broke glass while I was in there. You have to tiptoe and squeeze around this location. As mentioned, they do still have a good selection of items and I was able to find what I needed so there was no issues there. It is in a convenient location, which is always a perk!

The staff didn't greet me upon entering and seemed annoyed when I asked a question while using the self-checkout. As someone visiting from out of town, I wasn't aware there was a charge for bags--and while I understand that may be local policy, it still felt off. When you're making purchases, you don't expect to be nickel-and-dimed for basic things like a shopping bag. Between the lack of customer engagement and the extra charges, the experience felt more frustrating than fun. These types of stores are starting to feel like more of a rip-off than a value.

I called and spoke to the manager who was no help since they didn't have any more in stock and just sold the Floor model (which I would have paid more for if I didn't have to assemble) He told me to call the West Jordan store they might be able to help me and that was that. He should have offered to call the other stores. I want the piece, not to return the item as I want it. West Jordan didn't have the exact one and told me to email the manufacturer. And that was that! I am in tears as this is the last item to put my living room together. I emailed the company, now what am i supposed to do wait 4-6 weeks? Never will go to the Murray store again, West Jordan did try and I was not his customer.

Staff were very friendly. I knocked off a star for 2 reasons: because the aisles were a bit tight and the carts huge. Trying to pass people without knocking something off was a bit nerve wracking. Also, some incredibly high prices on a few decor items I've seen at Hobby Lobby and other stores. I found some really adorable items, but even Amazon sells them cheaper.

The main reason for my lower score was that the number of times we've been in and found a line with at least 3 people waiting and each person taking a minimum of ten minutes, some longer, to get through the cashier makes it actually painful to come here. They always seem to keep the place understaffed. Trying to find someone is tough and I don't think I've seen more than one yET at the register no matter how long the lines are. They are quick to apologize for the wait. The computers are often adding to the problem being slower than molasses to ring you up. The staff are always pleasant but the experience is consistently one that has me saying I wont go back and will try and find a different place to buy my home decor needs.
