Needed to start stocking up for hurricane season with water and Dollar Tree seemed like a good place. No greeting upon entry but noticed the two employees stocking the shelves and dealing with customers at the checkout lane. The shelves were fronted for easy access and there was no shortage of gallon water bottles offered in singles or an easy carry cases of six. Crystal Geyser Natural Spring Water vs Purified Water each have pros and cons. Basically, the Natural Spring is better tasting and retains its original minerals from underground aquifers, while Purified Water is taken from wells and rivers then undergoes a strict purification process but may result with a bland taste. At the end of the day, hurricane season comes once a year so for a mere $1.25 a gallon, the Natural Spring Water is my choice. For the rest of the year, I consume the healthier choice for another buck a gallon. read more

This location is one of the few that is by my house, and it has to be my favorite location because I'm always finding the things that I need or more. Sometimes the store does give me a little anxiety because they're always stocking the shelves so there's always boxes everywhere but for the most part, you'll find exactly what you're looking for. They always have plenty of everything. One of the cons of this store, is sometimes the lines do get long and it's literally one person at the register and they're constantly changing staff and the prices are always changing. But one of the pros, every time I've gone in, the staff was always nice and friendly to me. read more

They need to replace the freezers. Tech are constantly fixing them but nothing is very cold and I stopped buy frozen stuff with wascthe bulk of my purchsses. read more

While in the Tamarac area, I could not skip stopping at this Dollar Tree. Always an adventure to see what they have on the shelves and what they might have that other Dollar Trees don't have. I have a weakness for snacks....salty snacks...so when I can get name brand snacks for $1.25, I load up. Most items were well set up and well organized on the shelves. Good size store. read more

Like all other chain stores, this review is pretty much a copy of the other ones for dollar tree. These types of stores all follow the same business model from store to store. Most of my readers know that I am a HUGE fan of the Dollar Tree stores and this location is no exception.  This store is in a pretty big shopping center with a very large shared parking lot The store is big and fortunately these stores are all set up the same way so finding items from store to store is very easy.   What ever you need for household items and food, and cleaning supplies, etc, etc. can be found here. I don't know how they do it but dollar tree is my goto for cards, balloons, glassware and more.    They have a great staff who are always willing to help you out but...  that staff is limited and if they're not helping you, they're probably working at the cash register or unpacking new merchandise.  They could definitely use a few more cashiers to move the line a bit more quickly but that could have a negative impact to the pricing structure so I never go here if I'm in a big rush. It's Dollar Tree. You don't come here looking for high quality items, or state of the art items. You come here for cheap things. And they have them. Lots of them. Some of them are junk but some are not. I do buy certain things here a lot, like greeting cards or Hershey bars. I can't find anyone with better prices. But other things I would never buy here, like batteries. They tend to wear out too quickly. You get what you pay for. Sometimes, you don't need to pay a lot and when that's the case, you come here. Oh, and this store is cleaner than many of the others. That's a plus. And there's a Dairy Queen in the same shopping center. Yay! read more

This is hands down the mossiest Dollar Tree I've ever been in. And that is saying a lot, because I have been to a lot of Dollar Trees, and they are all messy! It looked like a tornado went through. They were out of a lot of items, and it was just a mess. I came in looking for a certain eye liner that I get only at Dollar Tree. Mind you, I spend quite a bit on cosmetics, but this stuff is the real deal. They of course didn't have it. I did get a blue liner of the same brand. As far as the store goes. It is big, and it's got a lot of potential. I blame management and employees for the deplorable state of the sore. Otherwise it would be great. The cashier who helped me was also rude. I am a dollar tree fan for sure because their items are all really a DOLLAR. Unlike some, a dollar and up... Some false advertising in some stores. Anywho.......... I have been to many dollar tree stores and they tend to be small, unorganized... Stuff everywhere, lack of inventory and employees don't care. But THIS store stands out from the rest. It is located in a shopping plaza with Walmart. It is easily the cleanest and most organized dollar tree I've ever been to. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in actually! You can navigate through the aisles easy, items very organized. They have a good amount of inventory. Pleasant store and employees. I will be definitely making more visits here! read more

Time for some bargain shopping! For a dollar type store, this one is one of the better I have seen. It takes a lot for me to say this as I usually don't care for these store but this one is an exception. It feels clean and organized and the employees are pleasant. When I asked for an item, I was told they didn't think they had it but if they did it would be on this isle. I made my way back but didn't have any luck. All in all, if I am looking for a dollar store, this will be my first stop. read more

Warning!!! Beware of the credit card skinner I ran in for a quick second for a pair a cheap readers since I'm constantly breaking my glasses.. I swiped my credit card as I usually do and leave. 2 days later the card number was used 30 miles away 5 times. I called corporate headquarters to let them know they had a skimmer on their credit card machine only to be prompt to leave a voice mail. No wonder why the cashier at the other opened register directed me to her coworker to ring me up. She knew what she was doing. With three (3) stores in my neighborhood, this is my favorite one. The associates are very helpful and friendly. The general manager keeps everything in line, and the products are well merchandised. Although it's one of the smaller locations, it can get busy, but not a challenge! They schedule enough employees that both the floor and the registers are well manned. The truck delivers on Tuesdays, which I look forward to, as I like to get our charcoal moisture eliminator (similar to DampRid) from this store during rainy season--which seems to be year-round! One container lasts up to sixty (60) days, but the price is so low (just $1 hehe) that I can switch them out every other week or so. It seems to be their most popular item! Another fancy of mine, in addition to their readers, is the selection of bathroom and kitchen items; like Close-Up products, Softsoap, bandaids, foot/inner sole pads, hair claws, wipes, makeup sponges & cotton pads, Dawn, dryer sheets, and plasticware. I also really like the surplus of greeting cards, tissue paper, gifts bags, balloons, as well as many inexpensive candy and snacks. With larger than the familiar aisles, this store allows for not-too-close-for-comfort shopping. read more

This is my local Dollar Tree. I just love Dollar Tree stores in general. I don't know anyone who hasn't visited a Dollar Tree and appreciated some of the bargains that can't be matched anywhere else. Party supplies, cheater eye glasses and kitchen utensils are what keep me coming back... read more
