You will see Ollie's bucktooth grin along with funny sayings all over the store. In 1994 the company started their loyalty program called Ollie's Army which you can sign up for on their website. For every $1 you spend, you get one point. Points move you up the rank and earn you discount coupons off your purchase. According to the company, Ollie's Army get you "good stuff...even cheaper". Currently there are 408 stores in 28 states, several of which are in Florida. Ollie's purchases company liquidations, overstocks, and older items that haven't sold, and resells them in their stores for a discount. You can expect to see name brand items. Ollie's sells a little of everything, cleaning supplies, garden items, books, toys, food, health and beauty, automotive, holiday decorations, home improvements, electronics, flooring, housewares, and so much more. I had previously shopped in the West Palm Beach and Delray stores and they were great for stocking up on hurricane supplies. Ollie's always has a ton of inexpensive K-cups and cheap and unusual snacks. I usually grab some candy as incentives for the kids at school. On this trip I found the snack size bags I use to pack portion controlled snacks for my school lunches. This is the kind of store where you come in for one thing and pretty soon you have a cart full of stuff. Check back often because the merchandise changes frequently and you will always find something new.

Easily the best place to go for affordable home goods, rugs, even some clothes, random food items and especially for holiday shopping or any kind of gift shopping. The store has been more organized recently - good job on that end, employees! Now, on to the criticism... Recently every time I've been in here, I've been hearing the employees complaining very loudly about how they want to quit, can't wait to leave, etc. It's really beginning to show in their attitudes on the job. The last time I went the lady Trisha was so rude. My husband commented lovingly on how she shared the same name has his sister (who is deceased, by the way) and she scoffed at him. She was cursing loudly and proudly on the job, a surefire sign of serious unprofessionalism. I get that you hate your job but when you're being paid to be at a location, the least you can do is hold your tongue to all of the foul words you consider saying and work the job with a good attitude. If there's one thing I've learned through my years working similar jobs in my youth, it's that you should never take your home troubles and bring them into your work attitude. She was very unpleasant, short tempered, and absolutely pissed off to have anyone shopping in this Ollie's Outlet. Of course, I love Ollie's so I'll bear through it. Another time, I was ringed up incorrectly and when I pointed out that my discounts never came off, a different lady showed me a lot of attitude in trying to fix it. There are some sweet folks who work here - I'm not saying all of them are bad. But recently I've really been noticing how negative the work environment has become there. Some of the employees really need to show up to work and just have a good attitude. Some are fine. Either way I love this Ollie's and I'll come back, but it has been pretty bad on that end recently. I would give this 5 stars but a star is getting knocked off for a handful of the employees issues, and if I keep showing up and these issues continue spiraling down, I'll come back and knock another star off.

Ok, I know I'm sounding like an idiot, but anyone who knows me will tell you that one word that has NEVER been used to decribe me is "domestic". I couldn't tell you the price of one item in the grocery store except for beer. I bought three pair of sunglasses for(guess how much)? Yes! Three Dollars!!!! Amazing. I'm going back tomorrow.

They have so many great items for purchasing and they even sell candy and food products at great prices as well. They have a very large gardening section here and they sell fertilizer. They even sell a selection of mattresses here. The team members here are super friendly and helpful. Again the prices for everything that they sell here are incredibly low. I definitely recommend Ollie's Bargain Outlet, especially this location.

Purchased some Disney shirts to wear to the parks and we were happy with our purchases without breaking the bank. They also sold Florida souvenirs here. There were many souvenir shops in Kissimmee and the merchandise were starting to look the same as we meandered from one store to another. Even their local WalMart stores had a few aisles dedicated to everything Disney! The store is huge and well stocked. The employee/owner was helpful and friendly. The clothing were nicely hung in their hangers or folded on display shelves and merchandise looked neatly stacked and placed in racks inside the store. They have every souvenir you can think of... mugs, hats, ponchos (for those random Florida thunderstorms), candy, sunglasses, keychains, snow globes, lots of knick knacks, etc. It was fun looking around but we just stuck to the shirts as we already had enough "stuff" at home and didn't need to add to the clutter. UPDATE: I just heard from the store manager, the REAL MANAGER, not Pamela!! He's beside himself…read morewith embarrassment over how my friend and I were treated last night! His name is Scott. Scott took the time to call us both to talk to us about how terrible he feels about how Pamela behaved. He said he's going to take care of this situation to the best of his ability. He said he was able to get the store video and was very shocked at what he saw. He then asked his other manager to view the video to see if what he saw seemed correct. She agreed. He also contacted the cashier who was there and asked her how things went last night. He didn't lead on about the situation because he wanted to see if she would say anything and yes she did. She confirmed what he saw and he said he's totally embarrassed by what Pamela did. I just want to personally thank him for trying to make things right. He's a very kind man and he made it obvious he's very experienced at his job. I told him how much I enjoyed shopping there and how I was thrilled with the products and prices and how disappointed I was to have to leave my cart like that. Over 3 dollars!!! But it was the principle of the matter. He totally understood. The chances of my friend and I going back to Ollie's is very good but I told Scott, I'd call first to make sure he would be there and that Pamela would be off that day. In my opinion what she did to ruin everything for us, I think she should go and find a job that makes her happy. She was obviously miserable there and even said such as she said she wished she could leave. Be my guest Pamela. Don't try to ruin good people's lives like you wanted. To actually call the cops to have us trespassed? Shameful. Well I hope things change and I hope one day to be back at Ollie's again some day. I really loved shopping there today! The prices were amazingly good! The selection of products, fantastic! I spent over an hour in the store loading up my cart with my friend who is a senior citizen. She put a large box of coffee pods in her cart because there was a large sign with a price of 16.99. We were checking out and the cashier rang up 19.99. I advocated for my friend stating there is a sign up saying 16.99. A very stressed and angry looking employee came over and said there's no sale on the coffee. I explained there's a sign saying 16.99. She left and came back with the 16.99 sign. She said the sale expired 3 days ago. So I asked why the sign would still be displayed if it expired. She said it was her fault for leaving the sign up. I said don't you think you should honor the sign since she forgot to take it down. That's when she got very nasty and asked us to leave the store. With that I decided I'm leaving my cart. I said here I've got a cart full of stuff probably 200.00 worth, plus I had a 10.00 off coupon if I opened a credit card which I was going to do. I said for 3.00 you are losing a great deal of money. Really? I asked for the manager. She nastily said in a loud tone, "I'm the manager!" "Pamela". She pulled out the name tag on her shirt for emphasis. Next thing we knew she's talking loudly on the phone saying "there's ladies in the store causing problems and being obnoxious and need to be trespassed!" I was shocked. I told her not to worry because I would never return to this store again. Wow! I can not believe such a fun trip turned out to be a nightmare thanks to this manager. I tried contacting customer service at corporate but there's no telephone number. You have to email them after putting in all your personal information. Ridiculous. I'm guessing that's why she's such a nasty person. She gets away with it. But the sad thing is, how many people has she ripped off with that deceitful sign up for 3 days after expiration and how many other signs for sales is she not honoring. What a criminal thing to do. Yet she gets away with it because she's the only manager and there's no corporate telephone number. What a sad shame. I'd 100% go back to Ollies if this manager retired. I think she's a thief and a nasty one at that.
