I received an email notification stating that my order was ready for pickup. Based on this confirmation, I went to the store to retrieve my order. When I arrived, the store manager was engaged in a video chat on her personal cell phone. I was informed that only one of the two packages in my order had been brought out from the back of the store. The manager told me that the second package had not been retrieved and refused to go to the back of the store to get it. This was extremely frustrating, as I would not have made the trip to the store had I not received an email clearly stating that my order was ready for pickup.

However, the prices are actually reasonable for grabbing the basics, and the employees are happy to tell you a price before you buy. I have also never found anything expired here. It is super convenient, and I would rather support here than the gross CVS across the street. I have never used a credit card here because it feels like a bad idea, but you can if you want to!

Nowadays, not only can I NOT shop in peace, now customers cannot shop while carrying their purse or bag without checking it with the clerks first. In addition the prices are actually higher than Safeway/Giant/Harris Teeter. A few examples: a can of Friskies cat food at Giant is 0.55 and 0.60 at Family Dollar. A radiant heater at Home Depot costs 19.99-29.99 WITH a warranty and the same heater at Family Dollar costs 39.99. Hand towels and body wash are cheaper at Walmart and Target. Body mirrors and small furniture are cheaper at IKEA. Save and shop elsewhere. Sometimes convenience winds up costing you more in the long run

NOPE ‍ first one we went into blood? or poop? was all over the toilet! okay! so I have to move my toddler back and tell her no! then the next 2! not any better toilet paper all over the seat! the floor it was disgusting. so we literally just left looked around the store part for a moment still felt grossed out left and immediately used hand sanitizer in the car. now! this being said I've closed places before so I don't blame the morning shift lady at all. but closing! are you serious? that was horrible! it was gross and honestly a healthy hazzard. I will say the one in La was so amazing that's what made us want to go back. I just doubt I will ever do it again in DC.
