This place was sub par to me unfortunately. It was definitely more for kids than adults. Outside of the venue was a little suspect. It seemed like it was an old warehouse or something. They offered many different rooms and experiences which I liked. However, many of their attractions were broken. Sadly, to say I probably won't return.

Took our 4 month old here and had fun. I heard that if you buy tickets there you don't incur the additional fees getting them off of fever. There's military and student discount so take advantage of that for your tickets. The location is where the Van Gogh exhibit use to be. Although there is a parking lot you must pay for it. We went on a Saturday a little before lunch time and surprisingly it wasn't super busy. We were able to bring in our stroller (there's spots for you to park it at all the rooms). I think you could go without the stroller because I don't believe you would spend more than an hour here. And since there's a few interactive rooms the stroller serves no purpose. Our child lasted the full exhibit and took well to all the rooms. There are bathrooms but my husband told me it was pretty icky so beware. The staff was very nice and overall I thought it was a fun place to take your family.

Very interactive. Plan to stay at least an hour! This is a self guided experience! Plenty of places to sit and take it all in. Bathrooms weren't the best, but the experience was.

I'm not a child and did not have a child with me when I went with my friends and I really enjoyed it as an adult. We did try to select a time where there was less children and it was great! There were still a lot of people but it was such a fun photo op experience with all these fun bubble themed rooms. The activities, like coloring and playing a quick game is geared for little kids. But loved being surprised by what was in the next room! The bubble pit was prob my favorite!

Went with my sister and daughter. Cool themed rooms for pictures, Fun place for a date night. Or to bring the kids for some fun pictures. Cotton candy machine at the end is a nice touch for the kids but it takes forever. That was $10 dollar. The room that makes bubbles wasn't working properly. So we didn't really get to see bubbles. Ironic, being as though this place is called bubble planet. Quick fun thing to do. Takes about 30-45 minutes to walk through. But you are able to spend some time in each room. We had fun. Also something to note, They have a parking Lot which is super convenient (being as though DC parking sucks!) parking for the hour is 5 dollars.

Bubble Planet Experience was all hype and no delivery. The service was mediocre, the venue was dirty and stinky. It was $38 spent on an hour of disappointment. I would not recommend attending this and save yourself a trip.

The ball pit was so much fun- as an adult! When you jump in, it feels like a spa. Lots of photos opportunities.

Bubble Planet was nice! We paid for two adults and two children. Kids under 3 are free. They had a variety of rooms fun to play as well as for cool photo ops. We paid on line so we were able to walk right up scan the code and were free to walk in. Service was smooth for this process. The price was good and we stayed about an hour and a half. We loved all the rooms especially the giant bubble bath, the optical illusion, the rubber duck bath and the room with the pink balloons. Unfortunately the giant bubble photo op was not available. Also the room which should have had the silver balloons was empty with only one balloon available so that was a bummer as well. Overall the kids had fun. 4 stars!

We visited Bubble Planet during a family trip and traveled from another state to experience it. At first, everything seemed fine and the environment itself was fun for kids. However, our experience changed when we got to the VR section. I approached a staff member to ask how the VR area worked and how we could enter. The employee had headphones on and seemed irritated when I tried to ask a simple question. The interaction quickly became uncomfortable and unprofessional. As parents visiting with our child, we expect basic courtesy when asking staff for help, especially in a place designed for families. Unfortunately, the way the situation was handled made the experience disappointing for us. I hope management looks into how staff interact with guests so other families don't have a similar experience.

I came here this Tuesday morning to try to get more information about thenplace and I was rudely accosted by the receptionist working behind the counter. She had a severe bad attitude when I tried to ask if they had a website or brochure. I approached this emplyee very respectfully and as a middle-aged prpfessional I was shocked about the disrespect that I received. All I wanted to know is if this destination is a museum or if it's some type of play area for kids, which would have been great for my family and I. Whoever this employee was should be seriously evaluated by the management staff here. I walked out immediately and I hope that this review resonates with other potential customers.

A nice spot to go to relax and enjoy bubbles. The people were friendly and helpful. For the experience it was worth the price.

The balloon room and ball pit were fun but some of the balloons and balls were dirty or had gum on them.

We arrived and the party room smelled AWFUL- like the party before us was a full on weed party. I was stunned and freaking out. All of my closest friends with their sweet kiddos were about to arrive and we would all be stuffed in this tiny room of stench. the party host noticed right away and offered to try air freshener and I said yes and asked for the manager. The manager came over. I asked her....how can a birthday party at a venue for little children be filled with...this? I was appalled at her response. First she said, maam, weed is legal in Virginia. Ok in that case why don't we go ahead and also allow parties to serve alcohol and smoke cigarettes. THIS IS A CHILDRENS PLAY AREA! Who cares if it's legal! How is that relevant to my concern!? Then she quickly backtracked saying of course they weren't smoking in here, they must have just smoked outside and it was just on their persons when they entered. Ummmm no. The entire room REEKS. She refused to do anything for us other than offer to mop (but we're all in socks...no thanks). Later they took $6 off my balance and gave me three day pass vouchers (I've always gotten these in the past after large parties). Did nothing to offer any kind of discount. I told them that I would sadly have to give a one star review and the response was just...shrug. Awful. Not returning and don't recommend this for birthdays anymore.

I wrote the following note to the staff at Scramble on February 2nd. I received no reply - it…read moreapparently registered no concern with them. I am writing with some concerns about the way my family was treated by your staff on Saturday morning at the Alexandria location. First, let me share that my wife and I discovered Scramble at Christmastime, and have now been several times to both the Alexandria and Falls Church locations. I felt we had discovered a true gem - a place where we could retreat with our now two-year-old for a morning or afternoon of fun. The whole environment is designed for fun, and I appreciated how inclusive things felt, as we interacted with your staff and strangers with smiles all around. But our visit on Saturday left us feeling unwelcome, embarrassed, and like second-class citizens. We visited the Falls Church location a few weeks ago and asked about birthday options outside of hosting a party, because we envisioned a very small gathering. The staff member there explained that if you do not book the birthday package, you cannot bring in outside cake or balloons and that we would only be able to purchase food from you all. Got it - all good! We invited two friends and their little ones to gather with us on Saturday morning, we paid the entry fees for everyone who joined, and we ordered a few pizzas to enjoy while our little ones ran around. We were first approached by your staff member, Cora, shortly after receiving our food. She came to our table and told us to move the two tables that we had pulled together apart. Her approach was curt - she didn't start by explaining any rationale for what the issue was - she simply gave us the directive. I asked her if she was serious because of the tone - I was honestly surprised - and then she explained that it was a fire hazard. So we moved the tables apart and returned to our fun. About twenty minutes later, while we were all away from the tables where our belongings were sitting, Cora approached again. This time, she snatched a gift bag while my wife was nearby. She told my wife that gifts were not allowed, and proceeded to move it outside of the play area. I intervened to ask her what the issue was, and she explained that we could not have a gift without having a party. I then went to the front desk and spoke with her and the party manager for a while to ask what the issue was and to share that I felt like we were being targeted because we had two separate interactions, and none of this was explained when we checked into the venue. We are not rule-breakers. I am fastidious in honoring the rules of any space I enter. My wife jokes about me being too straight-laced. I understand that Scramble has rules, and have no desire to work around them. I believe that this interaction could have been resolved through a simple dialogue where a member of your staff could have politely shared the policy and asked us to make a shift. Instead, we felt like delinquent teenagers, and the experience was deeply embarrassing and off-putting. Our guests, visiting for the first time after our rave reviews, wondered what the issue was. After Cora removed the gift bag without approaching us to explain things, I felt unwelcome and uneasy about even staying. I felt the message she sent to us was that we were second-class citizens that day - those deserving of respect at your establishment are those who pay a premium for expanded services. And I could not help but wonder if the interactions would be different if half of us were not people of color. I am not sharing this because I seek retribution against Cora. I share this instead, hoping that your establishment can be more considerate of your guests. You say that your mission is to "provide extraordinary play for all children"; I hope you will consider that the environment you create for families has an impact on your ability to attain that mission.

From the moment we walked in, everything was spotless--the entrance, bathrooms, and play areas were all incredibly clean and well maintained. Since it was our first visit, Cora took the time to walk us through the layout and answer all of our questions. The food was fresh, delicious, and exceeded our expectations. As an added bonus, they have Wi-Fi! I was able to get some work done while my toddler had a blast playing. Highly recommend this place--we'll definitely be coming here from now on!

Since we weren't sure if we'd be back, we gave it a try for one hour. Prices may change but our first time was $18 per child per hour. This may seem high for only one hour, but my kids had fun and my hour without worrying about them or being interrupted was very productive so it was worth it. Staff are friendly. I only wished they had gluten free options for the kiddos to enjoy after their play. Guess we can bring our own next time! :)
