Jodie was always working when I visited and introduced me to this fun world of fashion. This year I was unable to visit secondary to Covid so they went viral creating a unique way to engage in some needed retail therapy. Jane was my retail ángel this time and went above and beyond helping me obtain some of the items from their FB fashion shows. She even tried them on for a visual effect. The items were mailed to my house so you don't have to be local. Such gregarious staff wanting to make your shopping experience feel as if you were their only client. You can find anything from antiques, collectibles, dishes, clothes, even a very large wild boar head. I thought some of the prices were high however signs throughout the location indicate prices are negotiable. Staff was friendly and greeted everyone as they entered. There is a scavenger hunt with a prize if you find all the items. You can even buy your beer as you browse. I am sure some people spend hours here. There is limited parking along the side of the building on the street. I am not a thrifter but it was fun to browse Oddballs.

Than this past Tuesday they had a pop up store as did Pure Barre being held in the "Living Room" at the W Hotel on Ft. Lauderdale beach. One of the owners of this store was on hand with her son. For just a small pop up I was able to find a cute over body bag, a contemporary pull over as well as a nice small umbrella with different cats on it and a holiday kitchen towel that says All I want for Christmas is Veuvre! Than the next day while attending class I arrived early and their store was still open. I got to meet the other owner as well as a nice flamingo ornament. They have their holiday tree already setup in the front window They have a great selection of gifts for the holidays at various price points. Definitely something for everybody on your list.

The Wilton Collective was previously located across from The Manor but they have relocated into the old Holy Mackerel location in Island City Plaza on 26th St. The large space has an interesting selection of art, jewelry, accessories, clothes, figurines, home goods, and vintage and antique pieces. There is also an event and meeting space that can be rented. They have a Mix & Mingle event at their bar every Friday from 6:30-8PM. I loved the Florida prints, especially the alligators and mermaids and they had my beloved vintage Pyrex dishes. Items ranged from a few dollars to hundreds. The prices I did check seemed reasonable to me. They have such an eclectic mix of beautiful things. I really enjoyed exploring this store.

This pink themed boutique sells clothing and colorful, whimsical accessories. I especially loved the bags and sunglasses. They also upcycle vintage and thrifted items into one of a kind statement pieces. In the back they have an event room where you can make your own jewelry or you can have GG custom design a signature piece for you. This store is a great addition to the shops in this area.
