Forgot your bathing suit? No problem, they have you covered literally. Need a shirt that proclaims you have been to Ft. Lauderdale? They have many sizes, colors, and styles to choose from. Don't forget that Christmas ornament so when you are back in winter you can remember those sun shiny days. Other items they sell include, shoes, toys, clothes, sunscreen, floats, towels, beach themed decorations, key chains, magnets, home goods, and just about anything else you can think of related to souvenirs and beach gear. The selection is huge and the prices are reasonable. When I visited they were having an amazing clearance sale. T-shirts were being sold for as little $5 and they had a lot of other type of items on sale as well. Even if you are not a tourist it is still fun to browse around here. It was located within a plain, grey plaza. Because we were on vacation on June 7, 2024, we had to pop in... oh, who am I kidding? We would have anyway. For such a small shop, they sure offer quite an assortment of chocolates. My youngest chose a starfish and a sea turtle. They were $2.50 apiece. I chose a key lime cream in milk chocolate. A Dutchie (caramel/peanuts). And a sea salt caramel in dark chocolate. They were all so smooth and decadent. Not cheap, but very much worth it. Service was a bit slow that day. After we had made our choices and I paid, the young woman working that drizzly afternoon offered a piece each on the house. Lol. That was a bit backwards if she was trying to get more sales! I tried a blueberry cream in white chocolate. Its richness and creaminess took me by surprise. I would definitely recommend it. Afterwards, I did some research on this little place. I love the story that the owners posted on the Yelp page. It's not hard to believe that they once held the title of "Best Homemade Chocolate in America!"

There were a number of visitors shopping while we were there. One guy had previously bought a Hawaiian shirt here and was back again to buy another one (at almost $50!!). The shop is located right on the main street a short walk from the beach. It's a place you have to at least browse into if you're visiting the area. And who knows, you might find something perfect to splurge on -- like an extra bathing suit or sun dress. However, if you have a car and feel like venturing out into the city go a few blocks west of the intracoastal (or north/south on Federal Highway) and you'll hit a bunch of stores with much lower prices.
