Just 4 mos before I was told it was in excellent condition. Now I'm told even drive belt is in critical need of replacement. Uh? I decided to get another opinion at the The Fort Lee Getty on Palisade Ave, Ft. Lee. I just drove in to ask how much they would charge to check the belt, since that seemed the most critical. The owner, I believe that is Effie, came to my car, popped the hood, looked and said: 'You don't need a new belt.' And then he pointed to the belt to show me it had no signs of damage/wear and needn't be replaced before 60K miles!. He even went on to state other unnecessary services dealers may recommend. Again, Peter answered and confirmed we could get it done the next day. They replaced the rear bulb and just charged for the part - no gigantic labor charge. They informed us a certain part in these kinds of cars continues to trigger a dashboard warning light even when all rear bulbs are OK. Other places would try to talk you into fixing that part unnecessarily, but not this place. They just want to take good care of you and keep you as a happy, returning customer.
