But this last visit was very different and I was very surprised to see such service personnel with the same company. My guy was Andrew, he called my insurance/Gap which covers everything the other two agents wanted me to pay for. Why wld other representatives not have a clue about my maintenance service coverage which came with my car purchase. Andrew reinstated their values for me to return. Everything was taken care of as it should be and am grateful to have been able work with him. I want this company to vet their employees capabilities, and retrain some of ur staffs that have zero experience with services, bcos why wld they want me to pay for a services that I've already paid for. My last two representatives left my car trashy, dented unprofessional services. I'm going to stop complaining about them since I wld never use them again, and thank Andrew for his passion, customer service and knowledge of what a customer deserves. Period.

Felt I was driving blind. Using bike hand signals to let others behind me know I was turning. Mike from parts was so helpful and patient in helping me order the part. Went to get the part and had issue removing the old module by myself. Asked Leo for some help and he went out of his way to help me replace it (spent 20 min doing it), outside in the parking lot. He was still on the clock (no scheduled appt for this service). Just went to buy the part and try to replace myself (YouTube videos). But one of the connectors burned and melted and was stuck). He always looks out for what is best for you. This is why we are still bringing our cars to Barneys, and still extremely happy with their service. Vito, the manager, is just a great guy. Friendly, no-nonsense, honest. I am happy with the mechanics, and Buddy has been there forever and is just fantastic. Tony the owner is always very friendly. I highly recommend this shop for their customer service, professionalism, and overall value. It is true that it's difficult to find a very good car mechanic/shop that you can really trust, but when you find one keep him/it. When I need this shop I usually call them ahead of time just to know how busy they are, as soon as I get to their shop I speak to the owner, his name is Sabu. I tell him the problem with my car, leave my name and phone number and he will call me as soon as he finds out the cause of the car problem, we then discuss what is the solution, options and the price. When I agree to the price he starts working on my car. So many times he has been very honest in the cause of the car problem and the solution, he charges fair price for the workmanship that they do and the result of their workmanship has always been excellent. For anybody living in the area, I highly recommend this auto shop for whatever mechanical car problems you have.

Then he offers to repair it for free with glue. If he's not responsible, why even offer to repair? Claims he's been in the business for 34 years and the way to fix this is to just glue it on. In reality, water ingress and the freeze thaw cycles during the winter will cause the panel to fall off again. The fact that he doesn't know this shows what kind of mechanic he really is and how meaningless those 34 years are as any mechanic worth their salt will know this. He was incapable of understanding why I was unwilling to take his "Free Repair". Refuses to pay to properly repair. Ended up filing directly with his insurance. I wouldn't bother going here ever. Doesn't even have the moral decency to accept that he made a mistake.
