The parking lot wraps amongst all facilities. There are several entrances with direct access to almost all facilities. The biggest event with all facilities at NRG Park (except Astrodome) is the Houston Rodeo and Livestock Show between February and March. It sure will get crowded. Parking is at a premium.

Our suite was spacious, comfortable, and had plenty of room to relax after a long day. One of the biggest advantages is the location. We were able to easily walk to both the Toyota Center and the George R. Brown Convention Center, and the area felt safe and surprisingly quiet, even being downtown. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. The hotel also has a nice bar with food, which was perfect when we didn't feel like going back out in the evening. We appreciated how secure the property felt, and the complimentary breakfast had a great variety with plenty of options to start the day. If you're looking for a clean, modern hotel in downtown Houston with an excellent location and outstanding service, I would definitely recommend staying here. We'll absolutely be back!

The hotel itself felt very secure, even though the surrounding area can feel a bit shady at times. Location-wise, it's very convenient if you're attending an event--the arena and convention center are an easy walk. That said, walking around downtown requires some awareness, especially at night. There aren't many real restaurant options nearby, so plan on using Uber or Lyft for dining. Pricing is reasonable for a new, modern hotel in this location, and overall it was a solid experience. I would definitely stay here again if I were visiting the downtown Houston area.

Our Family Was Displaced for FIFA -- Even with a Signed Agreement…read more We planned our 2026 Family Reunion at this hotel. Signed the contract. Received the booking link. Shared it with our entire family. We were in the middle of collecting payments when we received a call saying everything was canceled because FIFA is coming to Houston. Our dates have been set for four years. The hotel knew that. We already printed, posted, and shared the lodging information. To be told "Your block is canceled, you should consider changing your event dates or moving to Clear Lake" was shocking. Changing the dates would disrupt hundreds of people. Moving the hotel 30+ minutes away makes no sense for our elders or our family events, all located in Houston's Historic Third Ward. Hilton chose profit over people, plain and simple. But most importantly--they treated a signed agreement like it meant nothing. This was unprofessional, dismissive, and a huge disruption to our planning. Future guests should be aware.

I really like that they had vanilla candles burning in the lobby, front desk area, and the entryway. That added touch gave the property a sense of elegance and charm! However, they only had one customer service agent in the late evening (around 9pm) at the front desk which made it take a little longer than expected to check in. Once I checked in, the room was spacious, well appointed, really nice and really clean. Overall the property was well maintained inside. Parking was a premium with self service at around $35 and valet $49 per night. I was satisfied with my stay, but I'd probably look for another property to stay at when in Houston again. There seem to be over 75 really nice hotels to stay at while in Houston. I'd like to explore another one during my next visit.

The bartender came right over to take our order and brought us water in Christmas-themed cups- such a fun touch. I ordered the white Christmas mojito and loved it. Anything with coconut gets an automatic yes from me. Our bartender was friendly, checked in on us throughout the night, and even took photos of our group, which we really appreciated.

My room had a king size bed on the first floor of the hotel. Normally, I do not like to stay on the first floor of a hotel for safety reasons. However, the hotel manager allowed me to have an early check-in and my room was the only one available at the time. The early check-in was greatly appreciated as it gave me a chance to refresh and change before my fitness workshop. Most Marriott hotels have a list of complimentary items that can provide you during your stay. The front desk manager gave me a shower cap and lotion that were missing from my room. Breakfast is included with your stay. Also, this hotel has free parking and Wi-Fi. I left at 4 am this morning so a hot breakfast was not available. Overall pleasant stay...heading to bed after a super exhausting day...
