Surprised the mall is very active and lively. When I was walking towards the mall, the parking lot…read morelooked empty and appeared dead. It looks like just one side of it is, but the opposite does have some life into it. A lot of stores, Spencer's is here, the food court is here, box lunch, a lot of surprising stores. Glad to see it has some life into it, but it also is extremely packed with dead stores and a lot of areas where homeless people gather and obviously do drugs and even break windows of some of these dead stores. They need to lease these stores and make them into new ones or just get better security to circulate the area. You can tell there's high crime around the area. Plus, I saw glass from broken car windows. Now I went to beyond this weekend at the NOS, and I know that this is actually pretty normal around this part of town, but that's crazy. Security needs to be increased for sure. Overall it is good to see a mall thriving, but low key, I did not feel safe here.

The mall has a few food places to check out and pretty good store selection. I noticed this last visit that a lot of the kiosk shops in the center have shut down. I'm not sure if it's economy based or because of theft. Parking here is crowded in some spots and dead in others. Near Pennys there's lots of parking but near the food court it's crowded.

The parking lot is huge and you won't have trouble finding parking. The parking lot is well maintained and workers at the shops are super friendly. It is so close to UCR you could also just walk here. Many great cafes and places to study or hang out with friends. Very close to what looked like to be some student housing buildings.

There are the old faithful staples like pho Vietnam, uncle chuangs, Dennys and Del Taco, Chase bank and 7-eleven. Parking during the day inside the gated area will require a toll ticket. Be aware sometimes these gates get stuck on the south side of the parking lot in front of chase bank. Go to the north end right in front of uncle chuang's and speak to the attendant. This gate works more consistently. Parking outside the gated area are limited times and some spots for patrons only.

I was in town for something but had a couple of hours to kill. As you would think that their downtown Main Street area would be somewhat nice to check out. Honestly, it's a cute area but not much there. It's a few block radius with some shops. Nothing major but small mom and pop boutique. There a few small restaurants and then a couple of the bigger one. More than half of the places weren't even open and it was just after 11 in the morning. I feel like it'll get busier during the weekend as around the area are bars and clubs. It is near city hall so you do have a lot of business people but it still wasn't that busy even during lunch time. The place is well maintained and pretty clean and organized. Nice art structure placed throughout the walkway. I don't know much about Riverside but I assume oranges have something to do with it as loads of oranges trees were planted. Could also be just for decoration. There's benches placed along the walkway for seating. Honestly, it's a cute little area but would I check it out again, maybe not. There's not much there. Maybe if I'm out for the night in the area but besides that, there's not much there. I'm not familiar with the area so maybe I'm missing something but it was fine checking it out. There's parking along the street for a fee or at the parking structure nearby.

It's wide, pedestrian only, has unique stores, many restaurants, cool sculptures and landscaping. A fun place to stroll, shop, explore. During X-mas time it comes alive even more, it's like a cool X-mas market, they bring rides, they have a stage for concerts, many food stalls where you can grab a bite, a fun dessert, a nice hot drink. Prices are reasonable and everywhere we went, customer service was very good. The decorations are incredible, it's a fun holiday venue. Very lively and pretty.

My favorites included a clothes maker, tiny whimsical ceramics, handmade leather purse, amazing vinegars, olive oils, magnesium skin spray, custom hats, custom jewelry and then the food! They treated our group with champagne and mimosas. We started with coffee and croissants. Shopped for a few hours (I know but once you see it, you will understand) then we all sat down for lunch at linen covered tables and shared different chef's food and what we had found! The Citrus Blossom Market hosts several vendors selling their crafts and food near the Edwards Mansion. This is outdoors so depending on the weather, you may or may not enjoy being outside. I just loved browsing through to see all the handcrafted items because you never know, you just might find that one thing that you absolutely need for your home or garden. The vendors are friendly and will answer any question that you may have. Don't forget to check out the food trucks as well. My favorite one is the Filipino one with their take on Filipino classics. You won't regret trying them.
