I am a newcomer to this area and was doubtful I would find a salon that met my needs, as I had a long-standing relationship with my previous hair stylist. I was even considering driving an hour and a half to return to her. At Style in Action, I was treated with personalized service and kindness. The stylists were attentive to my requests, listened carefully, as I was rather specific, and exceeded my expectations. Although another salon, a walk-in, which will remain nameless was recommended to me, I preferred not to try them because of the volume of clientele and the beat-the-clock treatment they provide. Unbelievably, the prices are more reasonable at Style in Action than some of the walk-ins. I consider it a disservice and very unfair to continue to run the previous, awful reviews of this business because that is not at all who they are. Lee treats your hair and style as a work of art, he is so professional with products, so meticulous with the cut and color. He is a perfectionist. He doesn't rush. They ladies here fixed the horrible highlights and cut like it was nothing. And I have very thick, long hair. Everyone is so sweet. I usually take appointments with whoever is free because I schedule last minute, but everyone here is so talented. I have zero complaints. They do amazing bridal/wedding parties. All 3 of my sisters have had their bridal parties get hair done here the morning of the weddings (one in '12 and 2 in '15). I've had my hair half braided, half curls and an all up-do curls and it all looked amazing. They really listen to your ideas and what you want and if you're unsure they help you make a decision without being pushy. Can't recommend this place enough.
