Went there Friday night only to find an empty parking lot. I knew something was wrong because it's usually packed. The pizza shop on the left was open and the guy behind the counter advised they were only doing takeout pizzas. Apparently, the pub side was closed. Not sure when this happened cause I don't go by there often, but I was shocked. Always had good pizza and atmosphere. Heard something about the guy possibly losing his liquor license but I don't know how true that is. read more

This was my second vist, first time out I did a pizza it was good so I came back to try out some of the other dishes. This time around I did the Titan Burger and the Boneless honey BBQ and French onion soup . It was great sat at the bar and watched the Rose Bowl game. Plenty of TVS to watch sporting events. I love this place more and more each time I visit, I wish my wife could say that about me.... This will be my new place , I love the wings ! The atomic wings are very hot but don't blow your brains out , very tasty also. I like that they have so many flavors to choose for their wings , also had a honey hot sauce that was right on ! The pizza is also very good , I was even impressed by the Chicago style , it was loaded with cheese. The staff is always super friendly and the service is tremendous. I need to experience more of the menu but the pizza, wings and beer are all top notch! read more

Great neighborhood bar feel with good food and service. Great TVs to watch sports. New bar section really cool.

Came here off of a few recommendations from friends. They steered me into the right direction and the cheese steak Stromboli was dynamite.

Best pizza in the area. Delicious!! Crust is perfect. They don't skimp on toppings and the sauce is yummy. We're originally from MA and could not find any pizza place in PA who would put ground beef on the pizza. It's a normal topping in MA. Dominicks did it for us. So good. read more

First time trying this place. Every time we drive by it's busy so decided to give it a shot. So glad we did. Ordered a pizza and meatball sub. Both were amazing. They were delivered quickly and were still hot. The pizza was HUGE and we had leftovers for days. They didn't go to waste. Will definitely return to try more items. read more

Dominicks Pizza places are a chain of pretty non descript restaurants that have been sprouting up all over the area for a decade. This one has transformed itself into more of a gastro pub with a small but excellent tap list, and decent bottle list as well. The food is similar to other Dominicks. I had the arugala and prosciutto pizza. Crust was crisp but a bit like cardboard without much flavor. Arugula roasted peppers and the cured ham did make a nice combination, especially since it was a white pizza without sauce. All in all not a bad place to visit. read more

It's a shame, we need to write this.... we really really like the food here- BUT, every time we go to pick up food, the guys behind the counter are extremely rude and arrogant. If we buy a slice or 100$ , they don't say hi, they don't smile, they don't say thank you, I gotta say I think this is gonna keep us from returning. One of Favorite places to stop on the way home from work. Beer selection is large from the popular national ones to the local Breweries. Staff is friendly, courteous and knowledgeable of the selections offered. Food is always fresh and tasteful. Pizza is very good as well as the Most of the food I have ate there. The owner had been there almost everytime I've been there too. which I feel is a sign he cares about the customer. read more

This was an experience unlike any before it, anywhere. My friend and I arrive at 11:45 Pm on a Friday night. I had seen all of the 4+ star reviews about the place and their "fantastic" pizza and was really looking forward to enjoying some of it. That was the dream...The reality: Horrific. So here are the highlights: (1) The bartenders were innattentive, arrogant and rude. (2) The pizza crust tasted stale and the toppings bland. First it came out room temperature, so I sent it back. Then it comes so hot it burned my fingers when I touched it. I then find out, they stop making pizza at 10pm! Excuse me? So this pizza has been (with meat on it) has been sitting out at room temperature for 1hr and 45mins? Are you kidding me? I hope I don't get food poisoning tonight. Time will tell. When brought to the bartenders atrention that the pizza was not good and too old to be served, the response from the male bartender was to shrug and walk away. The female bartender then proceeds to scold me, like a little child, about how all pizzarias leave their pizza sitting out for hours. I'll be informing the Bucks County Health Dept of this unsafe food handling on Monday. Beware Yelpers: Sometimes you can't trust highly reviewed places. In this case, I believe it is highly reviewed because it's the only game in the immediate area. read more

We initially started going here when we heard the beer selection was good. Since then we've been back about a dozen times and have been consistently pleased. The outdoor patio is nice for the summer nights (and has a little fire pit, so it works in the late spring and fall as well). They seem happy to go inside to get you drinks from the taps there if needed. All of the bartenders and servers that we've dealt with have been attentive and pleasant, which is a really nice change of place from some other beer bars in the area. The food is good, but it's not my first choice. I've had the pizza, stromboli, and wings. It's a not a place I ever go to for food, rather a place I end up for food. I'm not generally disappointed, but not overwhelmed either. It works for a casual dinner, but I don't think the food is anything special. The draft selection is pretty good overall, though there have been times when it seemed like they were caught in between big beer menus. They have a huge chalkboard on the wall with their selection and we've been there when you need a good couple minutes to get through it and also been there when there's a lot of black space to be filled. Those times seem few and far between, so that's why we tend to go back. They make a really good effort and the bartenders also are happy to make recommendations based on what's available not only on draft but in bottles (that are also sometimes available for carryout six-packs). The six-pack selection has been pretty good lately, but it is expensive. Be prepared to drop a few extra bucks for the craft brews than you might at Wegman's! read more

Fun spot. A lot of tvs for watching different sports with an impressive draft list to enjoy during the games. The outside patio is a really nice area to watch a Phillies game during the summer time as you are able to sit outdoors and enjoy the game outside while sitting at a full bar. The quality of the food, such as appetizers or the buffalo chicken bites which is their bone all's wing option is middle of the road as it is take out pizzeria quality, but the pizza itself is delicious. If you are in the mood for quality craft draft beer options that rotate, quality pizza, and the ability to catch all sporting events you want to see including even out of market baseball games with the MLB Extra Innings package available, side door pub is a good option. read more

We saw one family that waited 30 minutes before being served before finally having to walk out. It was really hard to get out servers attention. Look at what this "socialite" has reviewed. She probably expects to have Maître d' service at a family style pizza and craft beer establishment. Dominicks Side Door Pub, where everybody knows your name. This place is easily has my favorite pizza in the area, it just so happens that it's also my favorite bar in the area as well. They have a wide variety of specialty slices along with the regular variety of pizza, some examples are taco pizza, cheese steak pizza, BBQ chicken pizza and my personal favorite, the chicken parm pizza. They also have your typical Italian restaurant hot sandwiches which are all pretty good. It's not the cheapest pizza in the world but I think its appropriately priced. They have a bar attached to the pizza place which is my favorite place to go for a weeknight drink. The person who runs bar has a pretty good taste in beer and works hard to try to get really good craft beers in. Personally I like IPA's and I've had Bell's Two Hearted Ale on tap there which made my night, also Jai Alai. They have all your standard beers like Budweiser, Coors, Miller for those who don't like to be adventurous with their beer drinking. The dining area is somewhat small but has plenty of tables, although it can get crowded there quickly though around 7pm or so. They have 5 big screens all around which are usually playing whatever sports are on that night. There is also an outside seating area with a bar as well if it gets too crowded inside. The outdoor bar has a much more limited beer selection but the bartender will usually go inside and get you whatever you want. The outside has 3 big screens as well. I don't really know how this place is on the weekends because I usually go out to the city Friday and Saturday, but for a weeknight there is no better place in Montgomeryville to go get some pizza and a beer. read more

Never really had a bad meal or service here. craft beer selection is great, an important factor for me. Hubs loves the hot garlic wings. Pizza is well above average. They have a decent sized dining area with a nice outdoor dining area in the back for warmer months. Tends to be VERY crowded after ukies soccer games with kids, so avoid if your not a fan of preteens running in and out of the restaurant. I wanted to give zero stars but Yelp wouldn't let me. Went here years ago and the service was horrible. I swore I wouldn't go back but I was told it has gotten much better. Gave them a second chance! It was worse then I remembered. Waited for an hour for a plain pizza. The waitress was drinking and doing shots at the bar. She was very rude when I interrupted her drinking to ask where is my pizza. Not sure how the stay in business with the workers drinking and ignoring the customers. read more
