Typical tavern vibe. Can be too noisy to have conversation. Food was good. I had a steak and rice bowl. I liked it, but too much rice. My husband had turkey club and was disappointed. Incredibly rude service. Some of the staff has been very friendly, but the bartenders, especially guy with the tattoo sleeves, has been either passive aggressive or straight out hostile towards myself and my friends who have gone there before. Should avoid him at all cost. Food is decent though. Gets a little too loud for conversation sometimes. Would probably consider going back if not for that individual bartender. read more

Popped in here for lunch on a whim. To me, I thought it was busy as almost all tables were occupied and there were about 5 people at the bar but I overheard the staff saying it was slow. That was a good sign to me. I was quickly and pleasantly greeted. I am a sucker for a turkey club so I ordered this with the waffle fries. Rye bread was so fresh and the balance of flavors was fantastic. I know what you are thinking; "Bro, it is just a turkey club!" I kinda do a Dave Portnoy thing with eating turkey clubs and this was a solid 9/10 for me. Julie (the manager) was buzzing around, constantly cleaning and talking with regulars and customers, but always on the move and making sure things were running well. So I recently went on a little bar crawl through the lansdale area and after multiple spots not having actual good food my group wound up here. Once we entered we got seated pretty quick and the waitress was pretty friendly. We may have been a little loud because of 1 or 2 people turning 21 but she didn't mind. It was Thursday so the special was 7.50 burgers and fries and let me tell you, I was impressed. The burger was very juicy and cooked exactly how I wanted it.there were tons of tvs so i still got my fill of sports . The only problem I would say I had was that I ordered a long Island ice tea and those things should be strong and I could barely taste any alchohol in mine. Went there today for lunch with my Sister in law. Food was fresh and delicious. She enjoyed a salad with grilled salmon. It was fresh and tasty. I have a fantastic cheese burger. Was a horribly racist atmosphere last review deleted. Woman was upfront and racist about me asking to sit near her. Didn't care about her the bar was full. As a navy vet I did not think this would occur. She was belligerent and the bartender took her side. If you're a minority be wary. This is no place for a brown. Likely will be deleted again. At the bar, the bartender acts as if she is doing you a favor by coming over and asking you if everything is ok. I've been going to this place since 2019, Just prior to COVID. This place is a small gem in Lansdale! We've only been twice but the food, service and outside seating is all awesome. There are several potato lover options such as Dirty Tater Tot's and Garlic Parmesan Truffle Waffle Fries with dippy sauce. The house salad is huge and fresh, and our other items were all do overs as well - cheesesteak egg rolls, tuna tacos and the pickle burger. Their drinks are also nice sized and delicious. It looked like their Fried Spicy Pickles and cajun horseradish aioli on top of a cheeseburger. I asked if they would put some Fried Spicy Pickles and cajun horseradish aioli on a cheesesteak. Bartender said no. We got the Tavern Cheesesteak. It was small but very flavorful and cheesy. It comes with a side. We got the sweet potato fries. They were very good. A little small inside but the atmosphere is so fun. One said is a bar while the other is high top tables. The food was incredible. Loaded tots were amazing, the fry options were great but the sandwiches were one of a kind. No wonder they just won best cheesesteak.
