Heading to a different place for happy hour we got side tracked as we passed Gloria's and turned around to check it out. Glad we did! It is a huge place. Quite empty on a Wednesday afternoon at 4:30. I assume they get a younger crowd that works and comes later (we are retired). The happy hour menu impressed us. Speciality cocktails normally $15-ish were only $9. That got our attention. Plus $5 appetizers. Never see lemon drop martini, manhattan and expresso martinis on happy hour afterall. And those were our picks (3 of us). We were celebrating Mom's 93 birthday. For the $5. appetizers we picked pork spring rolls, potato chip nachos, and mozzarella sticks. The chips were the winner. BUT "never" get the spring rolls. Two very disappointing , tiny spring rolls that had a microscopic amount of pork. It was pathetic. Not even worth it for $5. I would stay away from those. Silly only two on the plate and there were 3 of us. Too small to share. Our server was efficent and sweet. She added to a nice happy hour. We enjoyed playing a few rounds of table shuffle board. Nice addition. The best part of our happy hour was a friendly couple (we just met them) at the bar surprised us and paid for a round of drinks since they heard it was my Mom's 93 birthday!! Visited Gloria Sports & Spirits during happy hour and ordered a mix of happy hour items and regular menu offerings. Overall, the experience was underwhelming. The Good: Gloria Fries Gloria spice, Cooper sharp cheese sauce, truffle parm aioli. Easily one of the highlights. Well-seasoned, indulgent, and flavorful. The dipping sauces were very good. Especially the cooper sharp cheese sauce. $8 happy hour price, normally $10. Truffle Shuffle Pizza EVOO, mozzarella, mushroom, truffle honey, rosemary. The best of the three pizzas we ordered. Balanced flavors, well-executed, and this pizza truly delivered! Definitely worth the $10 price, otherwise $19 regular price. Boardwalk Pizza with Pepperoni Bianco Di Napoli sauce, mozzarella, fior di latte, parm, oregano. Solid pizza with good flavor and balance. Paid $12 happy hour price, otherwise it is $19. Just Okay: Stuffed Grape Leaves Mediterranean-style dolmas with lemon rice. Fine, nothing memorable. $7 1/2-Pound Smash Burger Two smash-seared patties, Cooper sharp cheese, LTO, umami sauce, toasted brioche bun. Decent burger, but didn't stand out considering the price of $16 Not So Great: Margherita Pizza Bianco Di Napoli sauce, fior di latte, basil, EVOO. Came out burnt (as shown in the photo), which is hard to overlook. Fortunately we only paid $10 (happy hour price) regular price $18 Jumbo Wings Ten pieces served with buttermilk blue cheese, celery, and carrots. These should not be labeled "jumbo" as there isn't anything jumbo about these wings. At $1.50 per wing, they're overpriced and not worth it. Final Thoughts: Gloria Sports and Spirits describes itself as an elevated dining experience, but that mostly seems to translate to elevated prices. I would only recommend ordering from the happy hour menu. The pizzas aren't worth the nearly $20 price tag, and the wings are neither jumbo nor a good value. One final note: root beer is apparently the only soda without unlimited refills. It's $5 per order, which isn't disclosed until the bill arrives. An unpleasant surprise. Overall, for future visits I'll be sticking strictly to the happy hour menu. And that's all I can recommend for anyone else when visiting Gloria Sports and Spirits. read more

Went on a Saturday early evening. The bar was full and half the tables were occupied. Tons of TVs and sports, definitely lively. Wings and the sweet heat sauce were pleasantly spicy--would get again. The service at the bar was definitely lacking. Grabbed my own menus from nearby even after the bartender acknowledge that I was sitting there. Took several minutes to get a drink, no water given, and several minutes with my credit card on the check to get it collected. The bar was full, 80%. And it's a large bar, but these are excuses. I'm intrigued by the food. So I will definitely be back again to check it out maybe at a table read more

Really enjoyed dinner recently at this new addition to Valley Square. Excellent service by a friendly server. Had wings (special request balsamic BBQ sauce which was messy but excellent) and antipasto salad (large and fresh -- not great salami but 2 large yummy pieces of artichoke) and my dining partner had truffle Mac and Cheese which was very rich. Lots of TV's showing sports, large bar and many seating options. Nice for a large group too. In season, there is outdoor seating. Enter from parking lot side in back. Good alternative to Chickies's and Pete's. Hope they succeed in this space where predecessors failed! read more

Absolutely incredible food and service. I love the games they provide while you're hanging out too -- including a golf simulator! The garlic Fritza, fava hummus, and meatballs are must trys!!! Salads are excellent too. I love that I can get something healthier at a sports pub. read more

THEN I went today (1-23-26) When I arrived at 5:15pm Gloria staff told me there was NO-LONGER Happy Hour, and drinks were $14-17/ per drink. My wife and I sat at the bar, Jamie came right over and gave us menus right away. Ordered the "Heater", the best margarita I ever had !! Could not believe how good it was. We ordered the Boardwalk pizza and the Broad St. Dry Rub Wings with Sweet Heat Chili Crunch sauce on the side for dipping. I don't know what is in that rub but it's legit, excellent wings ! Chili sauce , excellent ! Pizza had zero flop, really good, You can tell the ingredients are quality because both my wife and I did not feel stuffed after eating everything in site ! My family and I went in for dinner and were pleasantly surprised. This is not just a sports bar. While the ambiance and decor are sports focused - the food was beyond our expectations. My kids both had Mac and Cheese (there are specialty add ons that take the simple Mac and cheese to a new level) and I tried the Chicken Caesar pizzadilla.
