They turned up the lights and the barrage began. It seemed attentive at first, then got really annoying. We're closing the salad bar, do you want anything from it? Can I get you anything else? Can I get you to-go drinks? Are you ready for your ticket? Here's your ticket. Is there anything else? Can I take any of your plates? At that point I'm done. Take all the plates. I'm not enjoying this anymore. As my husband was calmly explaining that if you let us in the door, we should be allowed to eat; I'm fuming and paying the bill and stomping out, because I can't be contained when I'm upset. But we honestly look forward to our morning run because of one very special carhop. We stop by on the way to work to get our Diet Dr. Peppers and we are usually greeted by "Audrey".   She is the most upbeat, positive, friendly person and seeing her starts our day on a positive note. There is another morning carhop (she has green-tinted hair) and she's very nice as well, but not to the extent of Audrey. Our exchange may only be for a few seconds, but that interaction sets the tone for our workday. Her positive attitude is lacking in today's employees (young and old) and it's very sad. There are a couple of male carhops that work in the evening that are nice, but I have no clue what their names are. (one is tall with a deep voice and the other has a moustache). As far as the other employees (some management included), you can tell by the look on their faces that they would rather be anywhere but working there and their body language, facial expressions, promptness, overall demeanor and attitude shows that very thing. But not Audrey! She wants to make sure your experience at the Prairie Grove Sonic is a positive and pleasurable one, and it is...every...single...time! Even when she has so much to do on a given day - truck deliveries, short-staffed, or overrun with lots of customers, her positive attitude and impeccable customer service never waivers and it only makes me think that the extra customer traffic is due to her and the positive experience, smile, and service is the reason. Management should be proud to have someone like Audrey on their team and they should recognize her for the impact she makes on this Sonic's customers.
