RATING BREAKDOWN Food: 4.5 | Service: 5 | Ambiance: 5 | Price: 4 PARKING Free plaza lot parking. LOCATION/AMBIANCE This medium-sized brick and mortar pizza place is located at the Navajo East Plaza on Navajo Drive. Inside it was a simple, clean design. The menu on the wall to the right cannot be missed nor can the large wood fire oven. High-top tables for two and a few tables for parties of maybe 6-8 in a group were available. THE GRUB Their pizzas come in two sizes: 8" (4 slices) 12" (8 slices) I opted for the 8" "New Mexican" ($11) which was their green chili chicken. It was so delicious I couldn't stop eating it; however, it was the perfect size for my ever-slowing metabolism. There was a bit of black residue on my fingers from the bottom of the thin crust that made contact with the wood fire oven, but I liked that smoky flavor and didn't mind that minor inconvenience. It wiped off easy with a paper towel. They have a pizza called "Boujee Lady" - LOL. Might have to try that one next time as it is pepperoni with "burrata cheese and finished with hot honey drizzle." I snitched a bite of the spaghetti and the sauce had an authentic Italian flavor. I tried the Carbonara Spaghetti with chicken added. Although I really enjoyed it and the cream sauce was delicious, it was not like a typical carbonara. Very different with olives and interesting type of ham slices. Very tasty, but not what I would have called carbonara. Took a couple of slices of German Chocolate cake to go. Very moist and tasty. Overall, we will come back and look forward to trying more entrees.

He was cooking when we came in and still acknowledged us and let us know he'd be up to take our order in a minute. He got our order and went back to cooking. When he got our order which he delivered he was chatting with us and we just loved the interactions he had with us and his other patrons. As far as ambiance goes it was perfect for a burger joint! Clean, small, and what a great host/cook!
