Also, they hit the wrong nerve when they tried to numb me. Ended up numbing the bottom back instead of top back AND they numbed my entire ear and eardrum, which was an awful feeling. They didn't believe me and tried to drill anyway! What is wrong with these people? They also do not use nitrous oxide (laughing gas). Yes, it can cause birth defects, but what about the non-pregnant people? That is my one thing to look forward to when going to the dentist lol.

Based on that representation, I paid a $137 consultation fee and drove 45 minutes to the appointment. I did not receive what was promised. Dr. Scallion provided only the restorative portion of the plan ($27,100). I was then told the surgical fee -- which would be performed by a completely separate, independent provider (Dr. Burnett) -- would need to be obtained on my own, and would require an additional paid consultation at that office. This two-office billing arrangement was never disclosed before I paid. When I requested a refund based on the broken promise, I was told the consultation "was provided" and no refund would be issued. I contacted over 40 providers during this process. This was the only one that misrepresented what the consultation fee would deliver. Proceed with caution -- ask specifically whether surgery and restorative are billed by the same practice before paying any fee.

The decision was solely hers based off what she said and she could careless to what happened she will not be seeing me in their office. i was definitely confused because of the tone and hostility in her voice. she spoke to me as if i was illiterate because i was trying to understand why she was refusing to see me because i had to reschedule. i'm happy there are people who have had different experiences but mines was far from theirs and i'm hurt and disappointed.
