You can do better. Also, do not trade in games or sell to them, as you will get probably the worst deal in the city. As I am looking through all the games and trying to find ones that I have on my wishlist that I have pulled up on my phone I was suddenly asked "do you plan on making money off of me?" I was shocked that a store owner actually assumed I was looking for games just to turn around and sell them for a higher price. I kind of shrugged the comment off just thinking this guy is a total asshole. After awhile I had found some games I wanted to buy, I gave him the games to hold on to as I continued to shop. One of the games I handed him to purchase had a price sticker of $20 on it. I wasn't aware of how much it was worth but he came back and said "I double check the price of each game I sell and this one is worth $50 so I'm changing the price to $50 because I see your on Pricecharting.com checking the prices as well." (Pricecharting.com is a website that tells you what the average price of a game is worth.) I asked him "so every game in your store that has a price tag on it is not the accurate price since you change prices at the time of checkout." He answered YES. I mentioned his policy is just wrong and he was an ass and walked out without buying anything. I will never step foot in this store again. Sad thing is I've been going to this store every time I come up to Manitowoc, WI. and have found good stuff and spent a good amount of money at his store purchasing games for my collection but never again. Being asked if I was there to "make money off of him", assuming I was a reseller and randomly changing prices on inventory while checking out is not a place I would like to visit and support ever again, so he can take his STOCKPILE of GAMES and shove it up his greedy ass.

Came from out of town, about 2 hours of driving, to visit the game stores in the area. We found a…read moreconsole we were looking for and bought it. Before leaving the area we tested the system and found it worked maybe 10% of the time. We called to ask about the refund policy, which they mentioned only worked for defective products. When we got there he tested it and of course when he plugged it in he got it to work first try. We didn't want to run the chance of getting home and getting stuck with a system that just wouldn't work so we asked again if we could still get a refund. Of course we were denied. We got home later that day and it hasn't worked since. It's been about 4 days of constant tests and trial and errors but it just won't cooperate. Only choice we have now to get maybe half our money back is to sell it for parts. Minus the extra things we bought in an attempt to get it working of course. Waste of 4 hours of driving and $200 + dollars. We don't live across country by any means but where we're from it isn't as big of a hassle to return something. It wasn't like we were trying to scam anybody or being bratty. But that's how they made us sound when we were trying to tell them what was going on. Now we're just frustrated and that we made the purchase but there's no help for it. Not coming back.

Side note, another customer came in and she couldn't answer his questions because she "wasn't an Xbox person". Who cares? You work in a video game store. You need to know everything. I finally ask if I should come back a different day because she's just sitting there. She says she texted her coworkers and they aren't replying. She finally got the genius idea to call them. And they answered! If she would've called before we waited for over a half hour, we wouldn't have had to wait. So anyways. Two of my pops were damaged in the process of this wonderful woman handling them. My husband actually had asked her to stop doing it but she kept going for another minute? That's nice. Considering she didn't buy them before messing with them. She offered me $33 in store credit or $19 cash. HA. Laughable. GameStop would pay more lol. So I gather my pops and such but, she had two hidden behind her computer. I had to tell her to give them to me. Not sure if it was accidental or intentional at this point. I don't care that you offered me $19 for 5 pops and 4 dorbz. 2 of them being 2018 exclusives. I'm annoyed I was lied to, made to wait over said lie, and my pops were damaged. Games, movies I had forgotten about. I started with the Atari 2600 and made it all the way to the Sega Genesis system before I picked up a skateboard. Really nice ambience in this place, love the 80s retro music, very fitting. I picked up several Atari 2600 games and have an Atari 2600 console system on order. Advice to the owner, raise your prices! Quite frankly I expected to pay a lot more than I did for those 2600 games 1981 Atari, Inc. Thanks for the great deal, and good luck with the business.
