Worst store ever! Drew the owner is a terrible person. I highly recommend you don't go here. He will damage your expense property. He is careless & very rude. I left a very expensive game system there to get fixed. It sat unfinished for an entire year. Always had an excuse. He just laughed about it. I dropped it off in mint condition & he kept it under his desk & it was all scratched & beat up. He had no remorse. Terrible person & store. I can't rave enough about this place! Incredible service! Last week I called to have a yellow gameboy color put on hold for me and also had the gentleman search for a particular game which is for that system on hold. When I arrived, it was waiting for me at the counter. My childhood beloved game, however, did not work on the yellow gameboy. The gentleman and I worked together to troubleshoot the issue and he even dismantled the game to clean the computer board to see if that worked -- he genuinely wanted to help me without any sign of annoyance (because most places don't bother to help their customers like this, seriously). We ended up going with a purple gameboy instead of the yellow and I received a discount for the trouble. I am completely satisfied with the outgoing service from him and I greatly appreciate it! I will make more trips from Milwaukee when I can. P.S. their selection of games and consoles, both new and used, is vastly extensive and, according to the gentleman, is being replenished daily. If I could give this place 100 stars I would. The owner is very friendly, knowledgeable and honest. He treats you as you would want to be treated. The prices are fair. I bring every electronic here for repairs. I have so many instances where the owner goes above and beyond to make a customer happy. I wish everyone ran businesses like this. I purposefully shop here rather than any other store first. What can I say, this store will never screw you over. I bought an Xbox 360, had some issues with it. I brought it back to them, and they realized that the person who traded it in had actually given them a broken system. The happily replaced our system and threw in an awesome game for free for our trouble. We weren't even upset, but that's how the owner is. Customer satisfaction. read more

A place to find gaming needs and otherwise nerdy things that a gamer could get. They have a tv where they play livestreams of people and whenever I go there I find a game that can take me on a fun and long adventure. In my book, Gaming Generations is the place to go. My missing star is because the workers aren't that social. They only ever talk if you ask them a question or when they're welcoming you or saying goodbye. But still, Gaming Generations is one of my favorite places to go to get used video games. read more

Today, 5/25/2018, my six year old son jammed a game into our Nintendo Switch backwards. I was absolutely freaking out, thinking it was completely busted! We walked into Gaming Generations and were instantly greeted with a smile. We told him what our situation was, he immediately brought our Switch into his workshop and started taking it apart to fix it. Very quickly he had the game out, the Switch back together and he was testing it to make sure nothing was damaged. On top of repairing it so expertly, he charged us absolutely nothing to fix it! To show my appreciation, I made a purchase while there. One of the items I bought said it came with collectable stickers and there were none. He pulled out his box of high quality decal stickers and gave me a couple of them as a replacement! I have never had this fantastic of customer service anywhere! As a fan of retro gaming I love having Gaming Generations in town. They have a nice selection of NES and SNES games, a few for Sega and others, and also a good selecton of new titles for this generation of systems. read more
