I need to get an MMR booster vaccine. I called ahead on Thursday, the receptionist said they had it…read morein stock and I could get it but there was no doctor in. He said to call back the next day. I called on Saturday and the receptionist said that there was a doctor and I could get the vaccine. When I eventually saw the doctor he told me I don't need an MMR booster vaccine. He asked why do I even want that, it's not on the regular vaccine schedule. I produced the note from my fertility clinic the indicated I need to get my MMR booster vaccine. He said how do they even know that? Why do they even want me to get that? I said I took a blood test and I'm planning on doing IVF. He looked at me incredulously. Then the doctor told me that I need to ACQUIRE THE VACCINE FOR MYSELF and then he can administer it. He wrote me a prescription for a MMR vaccine and told me he doesn't know where to get the prescription filled. They actually have a pharmacy right in the clinic. I asked the person behind the counter at the pharmacy if I can get my prescription filled and she told me to ask the receptionist. Ok... The receptionist said that had it in stock. Ok... I asked the pharmacist and she said "Why would he give you a prescription for this, this is not something that we have in a pharmacy." Ok... The receptionist then told me to just come back on Monday when there is a different doctor. Ok... What the heck is even going on here? It was a huge waste of time. I just want a simple vaccine booster. I will just go to a different clinic rather than waste more time at this bizarre incompetent clinic. UPDATE: There is no working website for this clinic. The only number is for the receptionist. There is no information on who manages this clinic available online. There is no information on who to contact regarding this incompetent doctor. I called Toronto Public Health and asked where I can get my prescription filled as no pharmacy I contacted could do so. Toronto Public Health informed me that I can't get a vaccine prescription. I told them I have a prescription for a vaccine and they told me that is not the correct procedure. If the clinic runs out of vaccines they are supposed to call Toronto Public Health and order more. I would avoid this clinic. There are many other options available.

Acted like an arrogant bum. Told me i was imagining things and actually said to me "he hates patients like me". People who advocate for themselves? People who educate themselves? People who don't let you push them around? This guy should quit being a doctor. He obviously hates it.

I'll get the positive out of the way- the doctor I see is incredible. The front desk staff,…read morehowever, are a significantly different story. Their tone and demeanour is disinterested, rude and condescending despite being treated with utmost respect. Zero customer service skills. It's unfortunate that every visit I've had to this clinic has been the same, too. Always rude, always condescending, always disinterested. If you hate your job so much, maybe work elsewhere?

I was a patient of Dr. Cassam's for my first pregnancy. She did not follow up with me on any tests…read moreI had to do while pregnant. She treated me as if I should know what tests had to be done... She was outright mean to her assistants while I was there and always seemed in a bad mood. Flash forward: my baby is two and I book in to see my doctor because only after two years of being a new mom was I thinking about taking control of my own health. I booked in for a check up and the next day her office called to tell me because I didn't check in with her for two years she no longer is my doctor. Maybe I misunderstood the relationship between patient and doctor but I didn't think you could break up with a patient just cause I didn't have the need (or time) to book an appointment for myself. After this experience I did not want her as my doctor anyway. Good riddance. I never write reviews let alone bad ones but women.... with female issues...I wouldn't step foot in her office.
