My doctor referred me here to see if they could have a different outlook on the pain management. My first appointment we arrived early as requested by the staff. I filled out a few pieces of paper then waited an hour to see the doctor. Not reading any of the paperwork I filled he starts asking me questions I've already written for him. I see the doctor for less than 2 minutes, he hands me a cup to pee in and says "I'll see you in 3 weeks" My second appointment we arrive early, and again wait an hour to see the doctor. Dr. G enters the room and starts talking about headaches. I said, "I'm not here for headaches I'm here for facial pain." He starts talking about taking over my pain management from my PCP. I asked, "what are you going to do to help with the pain?" Dr. G suggests that we put a nerve blocker in my temple where the nerve comes out of our skull. It won't work because the trigeminal nerve was cut at my brain stem! Why is he offering an invasive procedure that wouldn't even work? Did this "qualified" doctor even read my extensive paperwork? I can tell he didn't read up on my case, even though it's my second visit. He wanted to take me off my anti seizure meds!!! Um, he's not a neurologist and shouldn't be trying to play as one. I got angry and explained a nerve blocker won't work because the nerve was cut at my brain stem. He gets up an proceeds to walk out. No care, no empathy, no compassion. Upon leaving I ask the staff if there is a more senior doctor, or one well equipped to take my case on. The staff explains he is the senior doc on staff. This is very sad and scary for those who need help and are in pain. And, have to deal with arrogant, pompous doctors. Do not waste your time or money here.

I have had nothing but an outstanding experience at this clinic! All of the providers are incredibly caring, respectful, and focused on helping their patients get to feeling better. I feel well listened to and never feel rushed at my appointments. All patients, including myself, are told they need to arrive an hour early to get the intake paperwork completed as standard procedure, so this is never a surprise. I've never had to wait more than ten minutes past my appointment time, and the front staff are always super kind and professional. My experience with Restore Health & Pain Treatment Group was extremely disappointing…read more My PCP originally referred me for documented hip and SI-joint pain, but Restore denied that referral and required one from orthopedics, delaying care. At my first appointment, I arrived an hour early, completed intake and urine screening, and participated in range-of-motion testing that significantly worsened my pain. I was then sent home for approximately two weeks without an individualized interim treatment plan. I was not demanding opioids or any specific medication. I was already taking prescription meloxicam with inadequate relief and was asking for any reasonable non-opioid, non-drug, or symptom-management option. After I raised concerns, Director Christian Garrido called and said my referrals lacked adequate information, even though Restore had accepted the referral, reviewed my X-rays, examined me, and documented confirmed diagnoses, reduced movement due to pain, pain up to 9/10, and severe interference with daily activities. A staff member later told me Restore would not respond to my written portal message and that I needed an ROI to obtain my own records. She repeatedly interrupted me, refused to let me speak with the director, and ended the call after my phone audibly announced that recording had begun. Restore then canceled my future appointment and sent my PCP a notice accusing me of "aggressive communication" and violating recording law. I strongly dispute that characterization. I did not threaten, insult, or abuse anyone. Restore's own clinical note describes me as pleasant and cooperative. My records also show that my initial urine screen was negative, yet an extensive additional toxicology panel was ordered after Restore had decided to discontinue my care. I am verifying with my insurer whether any related claims were submitted. My PCP has now had to reroute my referral and provide interim medication. Based on my experience, Restore's communication, transparency, documentation, and treatment of patient concerns were unacceptable.

Nurses and X-Ray Assistants have always made me feel comfortable during treatment or just making idle chit chat. Yes, alot of patients, including myself are there for chronic pain and are frustrated about day to day life. Dr. Hatheway isn't there to listen to us complain and hold our hands. He is there as a professional, attempting to resolve the issues with the skill and treatments he has to offer. I even love the valet parking and their attendants. And NWP validates!!
