UPDATE: after getting the bloodwork to confirm my miscarriage, it took them one week to "read the results" to me and then proceeded to bother me about the appointment I had cancelled that they still wanted me to come in for. I had explained to them already that I was not interested in coming in again and will be finding another provider and they still tried scheduling me, even after reiterating this information. I'm being very venerable when I post this. So I got pregnant again and had to call north Spokane women's health as Kaiser doesn't have OBGYNs here in Spokane apparently. I let them know I previously had a miscarriage and i wanted to make an appointment (I had concerns I wanted to get looked at). Don't quote me on it but I'm pretty sure they said they thought I was around 4 weeks I believe 7/30/25. They made me an appointment for 9/4/2025 nothing earlier as they said they wouldn't be able to see anything. I called a few times and asked if they could do anything earlier especially sense I had a previous miscarriage. They assured me I'd need to wait til 9/4 as they can't do anything sooner. I asked if I could have a HCG which they agreed to for my peace of mind. Let me know same or next day I was at a healthy level and told me to go back to get another HCG 8/2. I went to get my HCG and they never ordered the blood work for me according to the blood work place. That's not the issue. Yesterday 8/3 I started spotting and it wasn't normal spotting. My friends told me to go to the ER so I tried calling their doctor on call 4 times and fall failed and husband tried calling on his phone and the call failed. Called kaisers nurse on demand and was told to go to the ER. Went to Sacred Heart where they gave me more blood work and an ultrasound. They were able to see something... I had ectopic pregnancy that was rupturing. Thankfully I was in very very mild pain and it was caught so early but this could have been a lot worse and possibly deadly if I did not advocate for my self and know something was wrong. I told North Spokane Women's Clinic something just felt off I didn't know what felt right and wrong and what I should feel. if I had waited any longer this could have been a lot worse. Very happy the ER took me in for just mild bleeding and listened to my concerns and did further testing. I never met anyone from North Spokane besides when scheduling and trying to get something earlier for my concerns of something not feeling right. They didn't tell me things to look out for, if I needed to take any prenatal vitamins, or anything in my opinion a newly pregnant person should know especially when they are terrified already from the start with all their concerns. Anyways I thought I would just share this moment for other people who may have concerns. ALWAYS get a second opinion. You know your body best and your concerns are valid and deserve to be looked at even if it may mean nothing in the end. read more

Absolute worst experience at a doctor that I have ever had. I've been dealing with chronic pelvic pain and extremely heavy periods for over 7 years. I've been to several specialists (including a previous doctor at this office), had xrays, ultrasounds, MRIs, CT scans, exploratory surgery, colonoscopies....you name it, I've done it. I stopped seeking help a few years ago and finally got the courage to bring it up again. Since my old doctor left the practice, I saw one of their new doctors, Dr. Thueringer. After explaining my history, she immediately told me the only thing that would help is birth control. I explained several times that I've tried birth control, it doesn't help and the side effects make me near suicidal. She proceeded to tell me that everything I'd told her is impossible, there's nothing that would cause pain every day, that the only thing that would help is birth control. She then continued to make snotty comments about me possibly having an STD (I've been married for 9 years and have been tested at all my regular exams) and refused to talk about it anymore until my exam results came back and asked again what birth control I want. I have never felt so humiliated and blatantly dismissed by a doctor. It took me years to get the courage to ask for help again and wish I never did because of her behavior. Dr. Thueringer needs to understand that if a woman comes to her for help, a little compassion can go a long way and completely dismissing her patient can go even further in the other direction. Absolutely disgusted by her as a doctor and a human being. She should be ashamed of the way she treats patients. read more

Dr. Hardy is amazing. Girls up front are also great. Never had any problems. Currently expecting our first child and couldn't be more grateful for Dr. Hardy and his staff. They are usually very busy so make appointments ahead of time and arrive when you are supposed too. They follow COVID guidelines and require masks. Cute little office and very clean. read more

After going into the office to deal with pelvic pain and other problems, I was told that they would send in a prescription for pain medication as well as an ultrasound. After I got dressed again, I was waiting for somebody for 10 minutes to check me out. So I went to the front desk and I asked did I need to continue to wait in the room, or was everything done. I told them that there should be a prescription called in as well the ultrasound I was told that would all be taken care of by 4 o'clock. As of today, I still do not have a pain prescription. Then I called, was told they would get one and but my doctor didn't put any notes in my chart. And because he wasn't in today they couldn't do anything. So at this point in time I'm dealing with a lot of pain that even walking and sitting hurts, and nobody will even tell me that they either will prescribe it and do it or that they won't prescribe it. It is so unprofessional and it is so aggravating to be told there's nothing they do because the doctors office today and he didn't do is charting. read more

After moving to Spokane and failing at finding a solid "I'm a DOCTOR! I know my shit" I found myself here. Yes, here - the dreaded Pap smear place. At least for me, I hate getting checked out yearly. Yet when I started getting my female medical problems addressed by Dr. Hardy I was put at ease as he knows what he's doing and does so in a delicate way. Yeah the office is older, but the practitioners inside are great! read more

Dr. Havin has been amazing, I had to have a hysterectomy at the age of 38, Dr. Havin was very personable, put me at ease, and kept me informed every step of the way. He used real people language, not just the doctor jargon and explained everything, the pros and cons of each option. I never wait more than a few minutes for my appointment because Dr. Havin feels his patients time is just as important as his. He never double books and if he is running behind the office staff lets you know. I highly recommend North Spokane Women's Clinic. read more

Dr. Hardy was amazing when I saw him for my initial consultation and then again the day I had surgery for what we thought was Endometriosis. He was very kind, caring, and seemed genuinely concerned about the amount of pain I was in. However, my 2 week post-op appointment he was out of town so I saw Sara, one of the ARNPs in the office, I expected the same quality of care as I had received from Dr. Hardy. This did not happen. She blamed my pain on my being overweight, suggest I see a nutritionist, and try the latest fad diet. I was so angry I began crying, she sat there and continued to lecture me about the damage I was doing to my body. I don't have high blood pressure, I don't have high cholesterol, I don't have diabetes, I have no health conditions related to being overweight. I eat healthy and exercise on a regular basis, but she assumed I couldn't possibly be doing any of that. I let her know through tears that I had always been overweight and tried my best to maintain a healthy lifestyle, so no, I wouldn't need to see a nutritionist or the start a diet. I left the office in tears. I will see Dr. Hardy again. Sara needs retraining before she should be allowed to see patients again. I feel sorry for any women who sit and take the abuse she tried to put me though. read more

Trying to schedule an appointment is a joke and scheduling has no customer service skills. Asked to be on a cancellation list, stated they didn't have one and that I could call everyday to see. When I called she was willing to look until I said my annual and it was a no wthin 2 seconds, without time to even look. she said for that type of appointment we like to push them out and make them wait at least two months, unless there is something wrong with me. Stated that we were trying to start a family and she said that it didn't matter. All I can say is they really don't want business. read more
