I have been a patient here for ten years, since the previous owner Dr. Hoffman, and it thoroughly upsets me how the quality of care here has recently declined. When I was only getting cleanings done, Brockie Dental met all of my expectations. However, anything past I have yet to be happy with my care, which leads me to move practices. A few examples: I had a crown placed a year back which has never felt right and it is getting redone next month. More recently, I had a few bondings done. Of these bondings, zero have stuck, I have gone 5 times in two weeks because of this, ultimately leading to more drastic measures for a small chip. Furthermore, my experience with the technicians was not great. In my first appointment of the series, a technician said, "oops, I'll use the other drill." I did not realize she was doing the bondings herself initially (after this appointment, Dr. Zahm took over). Then, in my final appointment at the practice, I decided to no longer have work done there but I needed the chips to be smoothed, as they were cutting my tongue. A technician said she understood where the roughness was and started drilling. Unfortunately, she did not understand and basically filed the original chip back into my tooth (a comment of "oh, now I see it." was made after she had already started drilling). In conclusion, I am walking out of these two weeks with my same chips, lost money, and an unrepairable hole in my tooth to fix a chip that a technician drilled back out of my tooth. I do have to commend them for always making time to "fix" their mistakes the day of or next day, but these mistakes should have never been made in the first place. read more

A very good dentist with a friendly and informative staff. If you don't have dental insurance, they have several different payment options and will work with you. The only downside is office hours are somewhat limited as they are only open Monday through Thursday, although there is a number to call in case of after hour emergency dental issues. read more

Very bad experience. Dr. Chad Zahm, who is a nice man, really messed up my teeth. My former excellent dentist of 30 years, Dr. Dave Shannon retired, so I needed a new dentist. Dr.Zahm of Brockie Dental is near my home so I went to them without checking references. Dr. Zahm did an analysis and complimented me on my oral hygiene. Eventually I needed an implant or a bridge on my tooth #5. Dr. Zahm talked me into a bridge claiming implants and bridges did the same thing but a bridge is cheaper and quicker. He makes his own bridges in house and is a large profit center for him. I agreed to a bridge not knowing the risks of a bridge as they were not explained by DR. Zahm, as my new and current dentist did. The first bridge that Dr. Zahm made for me had an ill shaped and too short front tooth.Hard to believe a professional would not notice or say something but when I got home it was so obvious. I came back the next day and Dr. Zahm agreed, apologized and made me a second bridge. The second bridge broke within weeks. Ugh. Again he apologized and made a third and stronger bridge. This bridge put much so much pressure on the rear anchor tooth that it broke it, causing unintended damage to a healthy tooth. Great. Before that anchor tooth broke, just my luck, Dr. Zahm performed a simple post and crown procedure on another tooth #7. If you can believe it, that post broke within a week. When I returned, Dr. Zahm said I guess you need an implant but I don't feel qualified to do an implant on that tooth in front. I wish he would have said that in the beginning. Dr.Zahm looked at me with such embarrassment and apologized profusely claiming that this had never happened to him before. At that time he said he would return or credit the money I paid him. That was all good until I explained that even though I liked him, I was sorry but I lost faith in his work. He charged me nearly $6000.00 for the procedures all of which failed. When it came time to return monies he returned only half but would not say why. After the monetary and physical damage I incurred, I am now hating social life with three teeth missing while my mouth is being reworked the right way by Pariadontist Dr. Veasey Cullin and Dr. Steve Chronister. Dr. Zahm's work cost me a lot of money and a terrible year so far. The loss from monies paid him is about $3000.00 plus I have an additional tooth that Dr. Zahm accidentally damaged that will cost me another $5000.00 for an implant and crown when it is finally completed At least I am in competent hands now.
