They talked me through the process, checked in often, and kept reassuring me that I was doing "awesome" (which I still side-eye a little, but I appreciated every word of encouragement ). She knows what she is doing. Healing has been great. No issues at all. Slight swelling in the beginning, but that quickly went away. And the office was very nice! Moments after completing it, I was called to the back where they took x-rays and then got me settled in a room. Dr. Martin is the primary dentist and he's got decades of experience - practiced in D.C. for about 15 years before he opened his current practice and location 8 years ago. I found him to be professional but also friendly and personable. The office staff are polite and efficient as they explained to me how the appointments are held and what I owed after insurance coverage. All in all, it was a pleasant experience; I was out of there 1 hour and 15 minutes after I walked in, got x-rays and a cleaning - now that's what I'm looking for, fast and professional. One of my pet peeves is having an appointment somewhere, showing up and having to wait extra time before I get in the back, then waiting more time to be seen. I'll be back.
