The owner changed the original table layout without my permission, which made the space less comfortable and suitable for our guests. There were also additional issues with the owner during the event that came across as distasteful, and some guests even found the behavior rude. There is a bar area with a very cool dry-cleaner style conveyor belt where they have different bottles on display. There's comfortable seating at the bar as well as tables off to the side. There are also bathrooms in this area of the event space that were clean and had plenty of stalls. This area can be separated from the next room, which is bigger and seems like it can be customized for different events. For this event there were a bunch of eight foot tables for the breweries. There are also a bunch of garage door style windows that can be opened to create an indoor/outdoor kind of feel to the space. Outside there is a large area where there was a stage with live music and food trucks were able to pull in as vendors. Overall the event space lent perfectly to the Craft Beer Festival and could be easily adapted for other events. It also can accommodate a variety of group sizes. We had a great time at the venue and will definitely attend future events here and if I was from the area it would be a great venue to consider hosting events as well.

The inside was very historic looking even with the additions. The bar staff was very friendly and accommodating. There was an Irish band that performed at the start of the evening. The place got crowded fast. Everyone was very friendly. Even saw people with children there. As the evening got later, there was a gentleman playing all types of music which was cool. I didn't get to go to the upper floor to check out that area but I plan to go back. The bathroom was located in the basement which was very cold. That was the only drawback. I really enjoyed the experience overall. Staff was friendly, convenient parking, nice music, and great atmosphere.

I found the venue very inviting especially in comparison to other venues that were used for Candlelight Concerts. This venue has nice seating in an air conditioned main hall which made it very comfortable allowed me to enjoy the concert without fidgeting. The bathrooms were nice and easily accessible and on the same level. There is an upstairs for standing but i did not meander up there. All in all i found the venue cozy and acceptable for the concert.

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Cincinnati, technically in Covington, KY, MainStrasse has everything I would want and need in a place to call home. For starters, the vibrantly painted brick homes left me oohing and ahhing as we walked up and down the streets. Tack on all the amazing flower boxes and Pride flags waving proudly and you've got yourself a warm and welcoming village. The area was also very walkable and I really loved being able to take a quick stroll up the street for tacos or breakfast. They have a community pool, a good sized park, tons of cute restaurants, boutiques, and various shops. It's honestly like straight out of a storybook. I will definitely be paying this adorable village another visit soon and I suggest you do too!

This neighborhood is filled with shops, salons restaurants and bars and can easily be reached on foot from Covington's main street.

I've been here for dance lessons, various events, but this past weekend I came here to see a friend's bellydance show (I love that this space hosts such a broad variety of events). Don't come expecting some fancy-pants venue. Leapin' Lizard is definitely rough around the edges, but is filled with character. I came to the show with my friend's husband and we stopped back at the bar to grab a drink before the show. My friend ordered a whiskey sour. The bartender told us that she was waiting for the sour mix to be brought up but that she would walk the drink over to us when it arrived (in a very busy event), how cool is that!? The bar staff was SUPER friendly throughout the event and it definitely made an impression. I can't wait for the next chance I have to come back!
