I know this is the second location that he works out of. I think as of this time of making this review he's open again to new patients. This is the first dentist I've gone to where the dentist does the cleaning. Usually it's the dental hygienist. Or a combination of both. I like that he does it. He explains everything but needs to be done and as he's doing it explains it, which is something that I also like. I don't know if all dentists do this but none of the ones I've ever gone to have really been this nice or made a point to keep me as informed with what they were doing. Came here for a dental cleaning with hygienists, Irene. She's very professional and knowledgeable as she has been working in the field for numerous years. She explained thoroughly on areas where I need to focus on and provided various tips on better cleaning/brushing. The cleaning was also very painless, with minimum bleeding observed. I scheduled an appointment on OpenCare. They called me back a couple times which I unfortunately missed. I did call them multiple times to book an appointment. When I finally got through (after multiple attempts, different times during the day), the lady on the phone was aggressive, implying my fault I couldn't that when she called and couldn't reach me. Should've been the first red flag. I said I'm still interested in an appointment for cleaning and general check up. I mentioned I found them through OpenCare. Her verbatim to me, "Oh no. No OpenCare. We don't take open care. No more" I told her it shouldn't matter if I found them through OpenCare or not. I also mentioned I was interested in using insurance benefits with 100% coverage. Plus assuming they provided good services, I would come back as a long term patient. Guess they don't really understand the Customer Lifetime Value in dental practices. Who jumps through multiple dentist's anyway?! Our conversation turned short as soon as I mentioned Open Cafe. She dismissed the conversation and hung up rather quickly. The dental practitioners probably provides decent dental care.
