We hired Blue Spruce Construction hoping they would help make our home beautiful. It was a very…read morehigh end remodel. It went terribly. We found Sandy to be disorganized, forgetful and at times, incompetent. One of many issues we had with her work was the subs she and the team she managed made significant errors. In one case, this resulted in punctures to our in floor radiant heat system. This created multiple slow leaks, damaging the ceilings underneath and causing a mold situation. After multiple leaks were found, we decided to tear out most of the custom ceilings in our home to figure out the extent of the problem, to prevent future mold issues. When she refused to accept responsibility for a mistake that was clearly hers/the subs she managed and she refused to cover the damage to our home, we had to sue her construction company. Even the architect who originally recommended her testified against her and her team. It sucked and was quite stressful. We found Sandy to be extremely manipulative, dishonest and well below what we would have wanted with a contractor. The damage her team did to our home took years to get fully fixed. It was a terrible experience, one which I hope you never have to go through.

I had a unique issue that required a structural engineer evaluation, which was included in the bid. Lalo and Daner arrived as scheduled to do the crawl space and had to alter the original plan a bit. They completed the project in two days (original estimate was three) and everything was left clean. They were friendly, polite and seemed to genuinely care about making sure I was satisfied.
