I'm happy with the work he did, so am updating my rating to 2 stars. I still can't honestly recommend the company considering my original experience, but at least they did right by me in fixing things up. Seems like they DO care about their customers, so hopefully will be able to figure out how to avoid these kinds of problems in the future.

The job took a couple days longer than expected but such is life when you're working with a lot of sq ft and simultaneously just had the floors refinished. The team was *incredibly thorough* with protecting the floors, walls, and other areas that weren't being painted. All of their prep work was top notch. The trim and baseboards came out gorgeous. And the rooms we had painted look incredible. It was a little more expensive than a couple other quotes, but I am very happy and feel like it was money well spent for very professional work. Attached photos are just two rooms, the green room they painted and did the baseboards. But they did work in 8-12 rooms in our house depending on how you count and every single one turned out great.

They sent a very professional estimator out to our house quickly to meet us and talk about the services they provide. They broke the price down based on the different paint products available and even offered quotes to replace some damage on our house. We found their prices to be comparable to other painters we got estimates from and were able to choose the kind of paint that gave us the best cost vs effectiveness balance which was nice because some painters are limited to one line of products available. Much to our surprise they called and said that they had availability much sooner than they originally thought and were able to come out the next day to begin painting. After a full day of very thorough prep work they had a crew large enough to paint all of the body in one day and trimmed out the next. The final paint job looks AMAZING! I was so impressed that they came back at a time that was convenient for me to walk the house and discuss any issues that I noticed. Damon, who owns Peakview, put all those concerns to rest. 1) His quote was the most affordable, by far. 2) He was able to start fairly quickly 3) He takes a great deal of pride in his work. He finds all of the spots which need repainting before I did. 4) His lines (between ceiling and wall are impressively straight, no bleed. 5) He kept my house VERY VERY neat. At the end of every day, he'd put all of this tools away in a safe, small corner of our house so that our dogs wouldn't get into them. 6) He's REALLY personable. If you don't like him, there's something wrong with you ;) 7) He's trust worthy. I've had to leave the house multiple times during the job. I could tell that he had been working straight through the time that I had been away. He also kept out of any rooms which weren't part of the painting job (i have security cameras which are hidden...) 8) Did I mention how impressive the paint job looks? Damon does premium work. We had a house that had been a rental for 20 years and it needed painting…read morebadly before we put it up for sale. Not only did it need paint, the walls also needed repair in some areas. Damon used a very critical eye to patch and paint the walls and ceiling and brought them back to where they looked new again. He also removed a small pet door and patched the wall so you couldn't tell there had ever been a pet door there. The exterior of the wall was fixed and painted to match the rest of the exterior, so you had no idea there had been a pet door. Damon also used a product on the woodwork and cabinets to give them a clean, polished look and also toned down previous scratches. He also did other 'handyman' tasks with the same critical eye he had with painting. I also found him personable and trustworthy. He also returned phone calls/emails in a timely manner. It was a pleasure working with Damon, and I think his great work at our house was instrumental in selling the house in 3 days!
