I have been doing acupuncture for fertility/pregnancy support, and didn't want to stop during our trip. It worked out perfectly to find Kerri right down the street from where we were staying, because those issues are some of her specialties! I really appreciated the time she took to talk with me before each appointment, getting updates on any physical symptoms or issues I was having as well as emotional ones, checking my pulse and my tongue and then getting started. She also always explained what acupuncture points she would be focusing on and why. Her heated bed and heat lamp are divine, and she always offers essential oil aromatherapy, which I loved. I would definitely be continuing to see Kerri if we still lived in the area!

She is so bright and compassionate and accessible. And she has tremendous integrity about what she can and cannot do. Really, anyone is lucky to be treated by Kerri. She is a healer in the truest sense.

After years of suffering from sciatica and coming within minutes of going under the surgeon's knife, I came to Dr. Burgoon and opened a new chapter in medical care. Within a couple of months, after three years and multiple doctors, Dr. Burgoon resolved the problem for me and I was no longer in pain. In fact, the sciatica has never returned since his treatment. Unlike the majority of physicians today that will tell you they are the ones that can help you, Dr. Burgoon is honest about what can and cannot be accomplished with Accupuncture. As a traditional physician in the western philosophy of medicine, he is fully versed in those practices and will honestly and realistically explain why certain treatments are better than others. Based on my experiences with him, I have found him to be a great source of information. He explains things very well and attends to a patients needs. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Regardless of any reviews to the contrary, Dr. Burgoon is a true healer. About the office: The staff is excellent. They know the patients and are extremely caring.

They would rather redirect energy with needles in an ankle for back pain (snake oil) vs dry needling targeting the issue directly with instant results. Stay away from this place and the money grab of ancient Chinese theft. I have to drive to Maryland to stay competitive because of this business and Burgoon claiming Dry Needling isn't real (read USA Today Article on Dry Needling 2016). I pulled my back and tried acupuncture with no change. One session by a certified dry needling doc and back to putting my socks on. Every time I have an issue, Dry Needling instantly fixes the problem by directly targeting the issue. Shame people like Burgoon chose protecting self interests vs helping others overcome pain by lobbying to ban a proven technique.

I do not believe the therapist with long reddish hair is formally trained. I am a retired esthetician of 18 years, who's had massage all over the world, from beach stalls to five star hotels and this experience was shockingly poor. First, I started face down but my headrest was too high so the therapist kept banging into the bottom of my head to access my neck. She seemed oblivious to this and unaware that an adjustment was needed. I scheduled a 60 minute classic massage because I just wanted to relax. I did not request stones but suddenly the massage stopped. Without saying anything she left the room to retrieve stones that were much too hot for my skin and that I did not want. Then to top it all off, she stuck her hands in my hair and started rubbing my scalp. I was actually shocked because everyone in hospitality knows that you NEVER touch a client's head, stomach or breast without verbal permission. These are highly personal potential trigger areas. When she asked me to turn over she never moved from the top of the table. A privacy towel was not held up. (What school did she graduate from??) I thought she would begin working my neck and shoulders which is why I came, but she stuck her hands back in my hair. At that point I asked her to stop. If she has a legitimate license she needs to practice on co-workers to improve her performance. But I'm assuming the other therapists are better. Hopefully they are.
