The customer service was outstanding. Felipe really went above and beyond. He suggested we try the Penthouse (an IPA) and the Escort (a blonde ale), both great choices. Later, he even brought us a free sample of La Burra, a wheat beer that was so tasty. We ordered the fries, which came out perfectly crisp and topped with cheese- simple but delicious. I didn't realize they had a second floor, but we were lucky enough to go up and take some pictures from there. The view up there is definitely worth checking out. When you make your way back to the bar area, you can see the menu is VERY simple, no fancy drinks on sight. They even give you your drink in a red solo cup (so rock and roll) If you're a girl reading this, avoid the restroom unless it's an absolute emergency. There is no privacy and no toilet paper. She made it sound awesome and it in turn made me really hungry for a delicious burger. I'll wait until next time, I suppose. Until then, El Local serves as a great little place in the plaza to grab a quick drink and settle in for a few while you pick your next destination. Hell, this may be the only destination next time.
