Their beer selection is also very good for an establishment this size. The décor could be described as casual but the frayed upholstery on some of the seats has it leaning towards dive-bar. Tu Parrilla came up in my research and they were very happy to host our group! Fire up the grill, get the burgers ready, throw on some hot dogs, and drop a couple plates of chicken wings on us and we'll be just fine. This was exactly the case and I personally love the cook-it-yourself feature like we find here in San Diego at Turf Club. Oh, yes, they also have steaks on the menu (that you'll have to cook) and someone need to get the guts to cook one or two of those monster tomahawk ribeyes! Aside from the descent food Tu Parrilla also can take pride in having a great/attentive staff and clean bathrooms. This is something you don't take for granted when south of the border, friends.

The steak was tender, the sauce was rich and full of flavor, and even the sides were delicious. I paired it with a café de olla...so good! My fiancé ordered the molletes con chorizo and chicharrón en salsa verde... WOW. Everything tasted homemade with great flavor.
