The dough tastes great and the toppings were plentiful. It was so yummy, I ended up finishing the entire pizza despite my plans to take leftovers home for lunch the next day. My dining companions ordered pasta dishes and were quite happy with them as well. The service was friendly and efficient enough. Can't wait to come back here! A couple of notes: - This place is busy and only has 6 tables, so if you are planning to dine in, you will need to make a reservation in advance. - They offer delivery but only for the Griesheim & Gallus area.

The meals are not served with bread or salad, which I found odd. My husband had the lasagna which although it took a while to arrive was still bubbling in its sauce when it arrived. It was good. We both enjoyed it. I ordered the Milanese of Veal, it was 2 egg battered veal slices, zero sauce, zero personality, it was accompanied by a side of pasta with sauce that was good. The pizza being served at other tables looked and smelled good. After dinner we had to track down our waiter to pay the check, a little weird but not a deal breaker. I would recommend little Italy but avoid the Milanese.

The only saving grace is that the food isn't overly expensive for an airport restaurant.

The food was superb. The Jagerschnitzel (pork Schnitzel with mushroom gravy) was delicious. It came with a side of house made bratkotoffel (Potatoes). I ordered a side salad with the meal as well but it came late so it was a 0.5 deduction. As for the service, our server was very pleasant & kinda "German smiled"...meaning it looked kinda forced but the smile was still there. There were no complaints about this place except one...portion size. It was quit small I found so I deducted 0.5 for that. This could easily move to a 5.0 with minor adjustments. This is a do over!

The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We did the full multi course dinner and enjoyed several of the dishes. We were at the restaurant for 3.5 hours which was a little long for our taste after a long day of travel, but we felt well taken care of. The plating of the different courses was stunning. A lot of the flavors played really well together. We're big fans of steak and unfortunately we were disappointed with the wagyu filet at Carmelo Greco. The wagyu filet was from Japan and should've been the star of the show and stood on its own with little to no other ingredients. Instead, it was paired with a bitter balsamic and other ingredients that took away from the quality of the meat. The restaurant itself was cozy and inviting.

There was only one other gentleman in the restaurant so pretty much had the whole place to myself. Their tasting menu offers 7 items (including dessert) and you have the option to choose from 3-7 items. Overall, the meal was good and each dish was creative, making it exciting to eat. My favorites from the menu were the scallops and the trout. I didn't quite understand the parmigiano "flan" as they called it. The orange-espresso reduction sauce clashed with the spongey cheese flan... there were just too many strong flavors going on in the dish for me. I'm thankful that Carmelo Greco was able to accommodate my last minute arrival, I was there till almost 11pm despite them closing at 10pm. The only downside of my experience here was that there were a few little flies that kept bothering me throughout my entire meal. One eventually landed and died inside my wine... it was very distracting to have to constantly swat the flies (and looking like a crazy person). They kept landing on the bread and onto my wine glass.
