This is my second time in the last couple of months that I have had my hair colored by Stella. I am a snowbird in Florida with my main residence in New York. I have tried a couple of other salons in the Boynton area in the last couple of years and have been dissatisfied with all of them . In New York I have been going to a top hair color salon for over 20 years. I must tell you that Stella at the Donna Michael's hair salon --now known as the Lotus Elegant hair salon --is so much better than even my New York colorist. I only wish I could bring Stella back to New York with me. She is fantastic and my hair never looked this good ; and the color never lasted as well or as long. And she is also the sweetest person you ever want to meet. I have actually tried two different stylists at this salon. Totally unimpressed with both, neither of whom were skilled at cutting hair. Plus salon is very overpriced. There are much better and much less expensive salons in Boynton Beach and/or Delray Beach. Definitely do not recommend and definitely won't be a client there ever again. read more

Stella is amazing! I came in with my three daughters while visiting from out of town, and she gave all of us fantastic haircuts. I've had my hair cut countless times, but after Stella worked her magic, I got compliments for weeks. We came back months later just to see her again--she's that good. In a last minute act of desperation I stopped in to see if they could squeeze me in for a few highlights. Very risky as I had never been here prior. I couldn't be happier Denise is amazing! She gave my hair a much needed revamp! Highlights, low lights and base touch up. She then trimmed my hair and managed to give me the first good hair cut I have had in a long time! Staff was very welcoming, accommodating and friendly, it's a good olde fashioned salon - they made me feel like a returning customer not a first timer! I will be back, thank you Denise! read more

Came in off the street with out an appointment and had a lot of questions. The ladies at the front were above and beyond terrific! They took their time answering all my questions! No one has ever spent time with me to talk to discuss things so that I understand what the magazines are talking about l asked if someone had an appointment available and they asked if I could wait a half hour. Went next door and bought 2 shirts on sale and returned for my coloring. Met Michelle who welcomed me warmly and we talked about what I was looking for. After 5 years I finally got what I wanted!!!!! The staff here works as a team. And every one is friendly. The communication between clients and hairdressers and nail professionals was spectacular to me. I got an awesome haircut by Sean. I didn't even have to show him a photo. He heard me that's for sure. Great angle cut, point cutting and it was just so enjoyable to watch as well. My Mom & I started at that Salon over 10 years ago & we loved loved loved it!! Unfortunately my hair stylist & his wife (Peter & Andrea) retired. Went with Michelle as she did my 1/2 head of Highlights and Breaking the Base (Bleaching base) twice and charged me $90.00. This time and it is my fault I should have not assumed it would be the same price and she had quoted me $30 for a cut and blow. She did not break the base as it is still dark roots and charged me 120.00 + 6o.00 for the cut (I brought a picture of a medium shag and she said that is a wig) and she chopped off the back of my hair. I called when I got home to speak with her and the girl at the desk said she was busy with a client and when I said what Michelle charged me twice $90.00 she said you got a cut and blow as well and very argumentative. When I walked into the salon, I greeted the front desk ladies with Good Morning and they flat out ignored me but I let it go. Bad juju in this place. read more

I am a new resident of Florida and top on my "getting settled " list was finding a quality hair stylist. I have wavy silver hair that has grown two months too long. I used the Internet to select a Salon in my area that seemed to offer very stylish hair styles for my over 50 group. I called to make an appointment and suddenly STOPPED ! I had no idea how to select one of the many stylist that had time open in the next week. I knew once I had an appointment with a person it is uncomfortable to switch within the same salon. I did not want to have to start all over so I thought - I will ask for a recommendation . I asked for the very friendly and helpful manager . For the next 15 minutes Niki reviewed with me my goals, my life style , and how I liked to look. Niki took my request very seriously. Niki even suggested I go on their website and see each stylist's client photos. I suggested that Niki see photos of me now and in the recent past. We spoke after reviewing each other's photos - she said " I know who you should see !" She told me I would love , love Michelle Massotti and I did. She was kind and confident and really listened as I reviewed all that Niki and I had talked about. She cut and cut and blew it out and I think I immediately looked 5 pounds thinner and 10 years younger. I walked out of the salon ,when all was done , with my short shiny silver hair bouncing happily on my head. Time for my next visit. read more

And now you're calling me a liar? No I was there.... it was the first week of December 2020. I don't recall the date. I arrived to find out the stylist I was originally booked with had canceled and you all booked me with someone else. I don't recall her name but she was a Spanish speaking lady (and also English but it was not her primary language). When she did the color in my hair the first time, there was NO noticeable difference from when I walked in the door. I ended up staying even though she said I could come back to have it redone ( so I wouldn't have a long wait) but I was so upset and I wanted it done correctly right then and there. So while it was my choice to wait, the pricing should not have been what it was. I also ended up showing her how to do my hair, individually picking up sections of hair on my own and instructing her which sections to put low-lights on. It was a disaster. Here are pictures. You can see there are almost no low-lights, even after it was redone, but it was slightly improved after the first failed attempt. Also she cut it WAY TOO SHORT! But there was nothing that could be done about that. read more

I am very impressed with this salon. I have short thick hair and easy to cut. I think stylist had a little mistake, and I have a divet in hair. I called and they were very upset. I went to the salon on time for my haircut appointment with Debbie. She was in the middle of having her hair dyed first she said she would have it washed out then she said, but I've already paid for it. A strong smell was impossible for me she knew I have asthma and cannot be near strong dies. I will never go back again. read more

I have had my nails manicured and also had a pedicure by Tully. She is amazing! Her attention to detail and care of my nails has been nothing short of special. She cares about my nails, hands, etc. and I appreciate the Brazilian-style of Mani/Pedi that she offers. I am so happy that I found this salon and especially Tully. read more

I had my hair styled here and it turned out good. When I called back 2 months later I was told that this hair stylist was out for a week re: medical. I called back a few weeks later and was told this stylist broke her hand and was going to be out at least a month or so and did I want to make an appt. with another stylist. I said no because this stylist knew how to cut my hair the way I wanted. The older woman that I spoke to/answers the phone and makes the appointments was snippy with me because I wouldn't make another appointment with someone else. I initially felt that the stylist I had maybe didn't want to cut my hair? I didn't want to use another stylist, I already had bad hair cuts at other places. Overall I felt like this woman didn't care if I made an appointment or not. and the stylist I had could have asked the desk person to contact me upon returning to work. No one in this flippin' state gives a damn about anything! I'll take my business elsewhere thanks! read more

It is a beautiful salon and I went in hopeful that it would be an above average to exceptional experience. The only thing above average was the pricing in my opinion. It is odd because I asked what the cost would be when I booked the appointment. And I only had done what I made the appointment for and was quoted on. So I was surprised that the quoted price was so very different from what I was actually charged. Now I know! Probably won't go back. read more

I usually never write a bad review but listen to me. This salon is very nice but DO NOT let Melanie touch your hair. Several months ago I had my hair done highlights she ruined my hair and overcharged me. Today I needed have my hair cut short in order to correct all of the over processing damage done by this stylist. Don't go there if you are a new customer.. Cece was recommended by a regular customer .I paid $130 for one single color, hair cut and style. Hair color was ok but hair cut is TERRIBLE, not even close to the style showed to CECE, not even on each side, went back a few minutes after leaving the salon and after realizing the problem ,but the fixing was not right and Cece was so busy , didn't take the time to look at my hair cut. Seems like the regular customer are happy because it is a repeat for color and style..DO NOT go there, waste of money and time, wait 45 minutes before CECE started to color my hair and then it took another 2hours before I had my shampoo and terrible hair cut .3 hours and $130 later, I am wearing a hat and will go back to my regular hairdresser and spend another $75 to fix my hair, way too short .. Please do yourself a favor and share this info with friends and family read more

I went there last Thursday not knowing anything about Keratin process,but wanted to be adventurous and try it since my hair is short, but thick,dry and frizzy. I had read about keratin on line and wanted to try it. When I walked in everyone was friendly.I had the great fortune of being assigned to Denise.She was wonderful. She really listened to me,evaluated my hair and explained to me about what the Keratin treatment can or cannot do for me. We decided to go for it! First she gave me a trim which was really a haircut because even though my hair was already short she did an incredible job of fixing a botched job I got from another place(will not mention).The haircut alone was probably enough, as it was so good.It was the best cut I had to date. I was already impressed with her skills at this point. Then I had the Keratin done and by the time we finished I had a new head of hair-Really!! The results were nothing short of incredible. My kinky frizzy hair was now silky,shiny and straight, with my scalp feeling moisturized,healthy. My hair is so easy to do I don't have to get up as early for work anymore to fuss with my hair which is a great plus. I want to add that even the lovely lady who washed my hair(cant remember her name),was very careful.She double checked to make sure to use the correct shampoo that Denise wanted for my specific process even though someone else told her. She went back to check with directly with Denise and that impressed me, It shows they cared enough to make sure everything went just right. Denise also has a great personality! We talked,laughed and she made me feel so good about myself,we just clicked. I felt like a new person. Update:I have not washed my hair yet, as it is recommended not to wash it for at least five days for Keratin treatment,Today,Monday is five days, yet it still looks fabulous! Im a little scared to wash it and blow it for the first time after this, but the cut alone is so good I am sure I can just finger it and it will lay great .I have not needed any product in my hair either. I would recommend Denise for all hair, but especially for people with difficult dry,frizzy hair like mine. I am going back to get a coloring too! (FYI-Denise-I found my glasses,lol.) read more

Terrible experience! Color completely wrong and the "trim" I requested resulted in my hair cut about three inches. The cut looks like it was done by a 5 year old with garden sheers. I complained to the owner who offered a color repair done by another stylist. There's no way I'm returning and he refused to refund any of the money wasted there. No thanks. I'll have my previous salon repair the color and bad cut. Just say no to this place. I wish I had. read more

This Salon had a Customer Appreciation day. I attended. You were suppose to get a tour of the Salon, make up tips, hair demo. No one paid any attention to me when I approached them. They seem to only cater to people of lighter color. Very rude and unprofessional. Very racist. If your not white, or a little darker in color don't go there. If you want to be avoided. Also they were giving out prizes as soon as you entered. Again I was never handed a gift bag. Yet the all the white people got bags. The girl Elizabeth was so rude. Only doing demos on white people. Also employees won the gifts. So I heard. Good thing I left as soon as I walked in. The owners looked at me as I was a disgrace. I was dressed in a pants suit. Yet my color was the problem.
