The in house menu does not match the online menu, but we both enjoyed our sushi rolls. So you walk in and upon approaching you can't miss the beer garden. If it wasn't so windy that day it would have been a perfect dine outside situation. But because of the wind we got a booth inside. In the middle of the floor is bar height tables a chairs, booths along one side of the room. The booths are only on one side because the other side is a beer wall. That's right, I said a beer wall. A wall full of taps. You get a swipe card and it charges your swipe card by the ounce. I don't drink beer but my friend appeared to be really happy with the selection. Because she couldn't pick just one, she made herself a flight. That's right, you can make your own beer flight from the beer wall. So for you beer drinkers I imagine this west side establishment is a hidden gem. I'd definitely come here again, with spouses and adult children in tow. There was fun food, good drinks and some entertainment. And not just karaoke either. We played name that tune. There was a prize at the end but we didn't stay long enough to see the winner. Well, we also didn't play competitively enough to be the winner either. But we had a great time and for a fair price. I pulled it out and to our astonishment we learned it was frozen solid. I asked our server about it. She said she'd find out how I was supposed to "warm it up." She came back and told me bake it at 350 for 15 min. Hmmm. I bake and this thing looked like it needed to rise, but ok, if that is what I was supposed to.... It was not what needed to be done. Baking created a hard shell around a dough ball with blue goo on top. Nothing red or white about it, btw. Seriously, though - why not just say we don't have any made? It really put a negative spin on the whole evening which, until that point, had been great. Service was wonderful, btw. And the ambience was fantastic. Loved it! Not the goo ball, though. That I'll give a hard pass.

The Holla-Peños were another winner--fresh jalapeños stuffed with creamy brie, goat cheese, and mozzarella, then topped with blueberry compote and a honey-thyme drizzle. It sounds unusual, but the combination really works. The Caesar salad was also very good, with crisp romaine, bacon, housemade croutons, pesto Caesar dressing, parmesan, and shallots. The only dish that missed the mark for me was the Steak & Poblano Peppers. The flavors were fine overall, but the steak had a slightly odd smell that made me hesitate, and it wasn't something I would order again. That one dish aside, I've consistently enjoyed my experiences here. Creative menu items, excellent cocktails, a beautiful upstairs dining space, and several standout dishes keep me coming back. We had tickets to see Chicago Farmer a few week back, I have been wanting to see this act for a long time so I was very excited. It was a very warm weekend. My friends and I could not figure out from the website or the tickets if this was scheduled as an indoors show or outdoors. I figured the best way to find out was to actually call the venue. I called the venue the evening before and asked if it was going to be an indoor or outdoor show. The gentleman that I talked talked to never really answered if it was indoor or outdoors, but eventually told me it was scheduled to be outdoors, and if the weather was an issue it would move indoors. Trying to plan ahead, since I had never seen an outdoor show, I asked the gentleman on the phone if patrons brought their own lawn chairs for outside shows. This was new to me and I wanted to be prepared for my evening. The gentleman on the phone was very rude and told me if I would've read my tickets I would've had the answers to all these questions. I feel like I looked in the proper places to get these answers and then I looked again after I got off the phone with him, nowhere on the tickets did it explain whether or not it was an indoor and outdoor show and if it was an outdoor show that patrons were to bring their own lawn chairs. What should've been an easy informative phone call to the venue ended up leaving a very bad taste in my mouth. I was planning on heading out with a group of eight of us, we would've spent a decent amount of money at the venue. After the conversation with the gentleman on the phone, I discussed the issue with my friends, and we decided that we were going to choose not to spend our money at that venue. I hope that this is not common practice to be rude to customers as they're trying to gather information about a concert that they were looking forward to seeing. It is a beautiful, fun establishment that I hope to enjoy in the future.

This couple with 2 corgis comes in, same people from buzz bomb, and obviously my dog is interested as is theirs. Their dog barked first*****, so mine barked after, duh. So a bartender came up to us (group of 10-12) and said if my dog barked again, we needed to leave. I asked another bartender why because the other couples dog barked first and his response was "well they come in weekly" ahhhh sooo it's okay since they patron there often and we don't as much. Although, their dog started it everytime?? So I was saying goodbye to my family and ANOTHER bartender came up saying we had to leave and don't come back. TRUST!!! We won't!! AFTER clyde and I left, the bartender told my brother in law that he told us to leave 3x which literally did not happen!! He told me the one time and we left. So please!!
