They asked if they could go on my roof to check how extensive the damage was and after they took pictures and contacted my insurance company I was so shocked when the claim was approved by my insurance company. So apparently they knew what they were doing. I especially liked how they were willing to go the extra mile to offer their help that was not a part of the roofing service, like even offering to cut my grass before the workers came to do the work. I feel like they are a part of my family. When the roofing was complete I was extremely satisfied because it only took one day for completion and the company did an excellent job of making sure everything was clean in the grass area, the driveway and they even wiped down my white siding so everything would look great. The owner of the company came to make sure everything was delivered and he was very sociable and curious. I definitely recommend Black Spade Roofing Company if you need your roof to be done professionally as if they were doing their own. The new gutters were not installed securely and not properly sloped to allow rain water to flow towards the downspouts. The gutter guards were made of cheap metal screen wire and the sections did not meet or overlap leaving gaps where leaves and debris got into the gutter. The gutter 'screens' started rusting within 3 months. I called the company numerous times to express my concerns about the quality of material and the work performed but never got a response. I ended up having to make the 'new' gutters work as they should and install different gutter guards myself. I highly doubt not recommend Lowcountry Roofing and Exteriors for this type of work.

Both times he and his crew were professional, skilled, efficient, and impeccable in both their work and their clean-up. Unexpected problems were identified and repaired with little fuss, and we know from experience that this company stands behind their work for its lifetime. Two times over the course of the last several years, Chance came out quickly to address a previous storm problem and a leak which the plumber swore was a roof issue but turned out to be his plumbing error. That time Chance couldn't help with the plumbing leak but saw two collars around the stacks on the roof were aging and so replaced those before they could become problems. Our neighbor even came out and complimented how beautiful this new roof is and how he noticed the excellent job the crew did! A roof that draws compliments! A bonus!

Quite simply Curtis is top notch in every capacity; as his work is exceptional in terms of detail, and quality. I have had the unfortunate experience of having "undocumented sub contract painters" in my home. To illustrate this point, the undocumented painters painted the entire inside of my home in two days, while it took Curtis well over two weeks. Subsequently, the inside of my house looks brand new! Curtis is also licensed, and insured (and provided me with a copy of his liability insurance before he began any work). Curtis was also happy to come back over and correct any areas that needed to be touched back up. I highly recommend his work, and I will continue to use his services.

There was no discussion on my end just his speech about only HIS concerns and a hang up. I will not be doing business with Curtis because communication is a two way street and he did not function that way in my experience. Watch out for that temper!
