I've had my walls painted in the den, living room, hallway, and entry hall. the painter also painted my cabinets on site, and did an amazing job. He indicated he didn't know what type paint the contractor used, because it wasn't oil based because when he sanded it, it had a powdery feel to it, oil base wouldn't do that. He also stated if I hadn't painted my cabinets, I wouldn't be able to wash them. They were not smooth,and had a dull finish with powdery substance on it. On a second note, he stated that the contractor did a great job with backsplash, Mosaic, flooring, building cabinets, and did a good job painting walls and ceilings, and didnt need a redo, and I agree. I paid the contractor $1350 for the painting of the rooms, and $2500 for the painting of the cabinets. Once again it is sad that the contractor cannot contact me concerning these issues or take responsibility. But if he can live with it so can I.

They did an amazing job and were done quickly just in time for Christmas. The house was left in very clean condition which is a plus as some contractors leave a lot of debris and dust. He was even able to haul away our old carpet for additional fee which saved us much needed stress at the holidays. I plan to use again on a wood floor repair this spring.

Since I was having a hard time envisioning exactly what I wanted, I gave him a general idea of what I was thinking. He then presented me with a few design options/layouts and they were all really good I wasn't sure which one to choose! Once I settled on one, they got to work and I'm so happy with everything and how it all turned out. This is the only contractor I'll ever use because they do it all. The porch was incomplete after 8 months (ugh) so had NC step in and do all the electric, finish work and a custom doggie door for my 100# shepherd -- and he loves the access to the backyard. We had a bathroom with a tub insert that we had converted for my mom into a custom tiled shower. It's amazing. He went with her to the tile showroom and helped her pick it out. For both projects the crew was here on time everyday, the worksite was clean and neat, and they were professional and fun. I couldn't ask for a better experience and I've had various contractors over the years. We will definitely hire them again!

Ray's Flooring gave me a great price for 1700 ft2, and 26 stairs. I didn't want to have to do anything because of work and my wife being pregnant so I coordinated a delivery through them where they brought all 6000 lbs. into my home, they removed all 1700 ft2 of laminate, padding, and tile from the bathrooms, and carpet on the stairs. We loved the home from the moment we walked in, it just needed some updates to really make it ours. With it's completion, I requested, and had a walk thru in February with the owner. Final payment was made. Promises were made. By the way, not kept. In the end, the room is OK. It could be great. Where this company fell short is "fit and finish" and attention to details. Wall slightly out of square, gaps in joints. Even 1/2 the 25 or so panel latches were installed upside down. And, of course poor communication and finishing the job as promised (face to face) . I'd say find another company.
