I love this place!! Joe is a really nice guy and he is always very professional, honest and does great work. We use him for our company vehicles and I use him for my truck. I just got my brakes done and he did them the same day! He told me to bring it back free of charge in 6 months to see if they need any adjustments. This is a family owned business that has been around for years and you get the feeling that your part of the family. Even the other customers know him very well and they chat with you as well. I refer people to him all the time. If you need any work done that he does not do, he will refer you to another reputable mechanic. One of our vehicles was starting to grind when breaking. After reading the glowing reviews on yelp for Don's Brake and Wheel we called Joe. He was booked that day but suggested we bring it in for a quick look to put our minds at ease until we could schedule an appointment. He got us in right away & upon putting the car on the lift we were able to see how bad it really was. We were very close to having a blow-out, not to mention the front breaks needing repair. He said he would get it fixed for us that day & even offered to give us a ride back to the office while he was working on it. He gave us a great price too. He was able to put us in touch with Los Reyes Tire Shop down the street where we got 2 used tires in great shape, for only $30 each. And he gave us the name of Sam's Alignment to bring it into to get the alignment fixed, which we did and were very happy with. We would highly recommend Don's Brake and Wheel, Joe was extremely nice & saved us a lot of money. He even told us to bring the car back in 6 months & he would readjust & inspect the rear brakes at no charge. We do our very best to always treat our customers the way we expect to be treated by others in the service industry. Exceptional service. Needed master cylinder and both front and rear brakes replaced. Both times I stopped in, he stayed beyond close to ensure the work got done and I had my car back. Joe is a great guy who will fix your brakes or wheel bearings and have you on your way. Don's Brake and Wheel is just a little place down the hill from and next to the NAPA parts place, but it's a clean and organized shop. Joe won't rip you off and if it's not his area of expertise, he will point you to someone who can help you and do an equally great job. I've been to Joe twice and have been very happy with the outcome. His prices are reasonable and he's a nice guy. Good luck finding anyone better than Joe to work on your car. He works different hours, usually after 10AM as he's a devoted dad, so don't think he's closed if you don't see him at 8am. read more

Was honestly just looking for place near my house so I could walk back while I got my brakes changed, until I met Joe. Instead of walking a mile back he offered me a ride to my house and picked me up when it was done. Don't get your hopes up if you don't live close but he did this without me even asking. Would like to thank Carlos for his outstanding service today. Went to Dons Brake & Wheel convinced I needed front brakes for my Toyota Corrola because of hearing occasional squeeking. However as it turns out my front brakes were fine and my rear brakes just needed to be cleaned a little. It is nice to find an honest shop who will not sell you something you do not need.
