I came here to get my rsx-s washed, which is a 6-speed manual. You pull up to the gentleman near the gas pumps, tell them what you want (I got the basic wash with hand dry option) and then pull in to the building. As I pulled in they opened the door for me, and vacuumed the inside. I know you get what you pay for, so I wasn't so worried about them getting every little spec in the interior. As you walk inside the building to pay, there are windows for you to see your car as it's getting washed. They pull your car up onto a track, which takes a couple of minutes. The brushes to make contact with your car, but are gentle and do not mess with your paint. The gal that cashed me out seemed excited that a manual was pulling up, and she wanted to be the one that drives it 40 feet to where the 3-5 gentlemen are standing by to hand dry. This was my beater car, so I had no problem with it. Maybe it made her day, I don't know. My car looked great after, and since it snowed/rained that night, I came back within 2 days and they cleaned it all over again for free, no questions asked. Great policy. I enjoyed it so much that I came back with my other car, a brand new civic SI, also a manual. This time my interior was already spotless, so I declined the interior cleaning. The guy at the gas pump ordered a more expensive detail than I had asked, so when I cashed out the clerk said he would honor the cheaper price (since it's what I actually asked for). So in the end I got a better wash for cheaper, service was still great. If you have reasonable expectations, you will not be disappointed. Next time I'm in town I'll be back! read more

Brought my car in for a interior shampoo, got it back and the gas tank was empty. I called them back & asked about it, and was told they let it run for 1.5 hours with the AC on high to dry it out. HUH? read more

Good/convenient but not great. Full service wash is nice. This place can be inconsistent with quality. If they did a better job on the inside and payed more attention to detail when drying, I would use it more. I would also pay more and wait a little longer. I think the price is good for what you get. read more

I went to Dons car wash today on 32 nd ave in Fargo. I have a 2020 Chevrolet Z71 when I purchase this truck I purchase the weathertec floor liners that are professional installed. They are half way under the carpet closer to the seat area. Well the inexperienced employee that runs a vacuum decided to remove them then tried put them back but unable since they were professional installed. So they just placed them inside the backseat. Then the employees drying your vehicle and wiping the windows down seen them this way also, never said a word. Of course I noticed at my next stop a few blocks away. I am so upset! Don's car wash detailer was able to get them back in place after I returned to their place of business. But it's not truly the same as it was it stick up some what on the edge. But remember this they gave me a Free car wash if I use it within a week or two! Hmmmm thanks but no thanks my truck will never go through your car wash again! I will wash my truck in Detroit Lakes that has a car wash that does a great job! read more

It got one star because both times I went there, the front attendant and employee at the register were super friendly and professional. Unfortunately, both times, only HALF of my car was vacuumed--maybe because it's a long car? Lol. Management was very friendly upon taking my complaint but suggested the "loose dirt" on the floor of my cargo area should actually be cleaned with a $148.99 "detail." Mmmmmm, no thanks. read more

I had my wife's car fully detailed at Don's for Mother's Day. It is a well maintained 2010 Chevrolet Equinox. My wife was extremely pleased with the result. She took the car to Minneapolis that weekend and her mom was impressed. Don's did a fantastic job. It was not cheap at $199.00 = tax but we are happy with the result. So happy in fact that I am having my 2009 Lincoln MKZ done this Tuesday. We have used this car was for 7 years and have had an issue or two with the job done on a particular day. The management sent a free car wash to compensate for the complaint. We realize that the staff turn over is high and that the motivation of anyone on a given day can effect the overall product but the management corrected the issue satisfactorily for us. I did really like Don's Car Wash until I noticed a chip in the paint on the side of my brand new truck along with several scratches in the clear coat down the sides of the truck. My truck has less than 2k miles on it and it now has several scratches and marks down the side. I work from home and park my vehicle inside. I'm confident the scratches are from the car wash. I recommend people with new vehicles to go to a touch-less car wash. read more

I got to stop coming here, every time I leave I feel like I've been ripped off. Not only do these guys not know how to vacuum a car, but I have never left there without asking them to finish drying my car. There is no reason why I should drive out of there with a dripping wet, soap covered car. Also, they seem to be allergic to wiping out wheels. Second, if you pay for anything extra, like tire dressing, make sure they do it. Twice, I've had to remind the finishing guy that I paid for it and pointed out the tire dressing card on the dash. read more

I was greatly disappointed with the inside of my car this trip. I have always brought my car here and have never been this disappointed. Dust everywhere, vacuuming wasn't very good. The center console was dirty and dusty. I did notice that there was not a manager overlooking things while they were cleaning it out at the end like there usually is. I will not be returning. I boycotted this place for over a year, but since I was in the area, thought I'd give them a second chance. Well the vacuum job they did was horrible and they didn't wipe down the inside to meet my standard either. I called and complained to manager and he offered to redo it. So I went back and I went after work so it was around 6:30 pm and they were not busy. This time I watched them as they tried to vacuum. They didn't even spend 2 minutes with the floors of the front and back seats and they didn't touch the cargo area at all. When I went in I asked what you get for the full service and the counter guy said " inside and out, full vacuum, including the seats and I asked about the cargo area and he said that too, as matter of fact they should ask if you want the back vacuumed." I told him they didn't ask and they didn't do it and they barely spent anytime on the rest of the vehicle. I also watched as they dried it off and this time they actually did wipe down the area where your feet cross when you climb in. But as I told the counter guy, I will not be going back! It's not worth my time and energy when I have to come home and actually redo (sorry - DO) the vacuuming. I guess I expect more for my hard earned money. If I could give this a negative star rating it'd be a negative 5 star rating. read more

Unfortunately for the Fargo Morehead area, this is the only full service carwash available to us. How difficult is it not to move the seat when asked not to. For crying out loud you people are in my car for 10 seconds, what is your need for moving the seat anyway? That in addition to the mediocre job cleaning the inside and an even worse job on the outside but who has time to get run through twice? Especially when it should be done correctly the first time. I've had full service washes in several other cities in the US and have never had a complaint. Maybe it's time to update your equipment and training methods read more

I was on my way through Fargo and needed gas so I checked Gas Buddy and the lowest price was Don's Car Wash and if you purchase the Rain-X Package car wash for $27 you get $.10 off per gallon of gas so I did that. After my vehicle was ready I got in and was missing a floor mat! They told me they completely failed me and put it in another vehicle!! Really?! My vehicle is a Chrysler 200 and the floor mats clearly said 200. Plus there's was still sand and dirt in my carpeting like they didn't take time to vacuum. I talked to the manager Neil, who was very nice and apologized and gave me a free car wash. Overall, friendly staff but not the greatest services. read more

Three weeks ago I went with my mom to get her car washed before a big trip. We pulled up as usual and my mom began to pull on her door handle to get out. Unfortunately a young female attendant pulled on the handle at the same time. My mom said she felt something give but hoped for the best as it went through the wash. We got to the waiting area and my mom watched intently as they pulled forward, out of sight. The attendants were acting very suspicious. They returned the car to us and my mom decided to check the door handle right away. Sure enough it was broken, she could not get out. We immediately sought out the manager on duty and filled out the necessary paperwork and said we would have to contact the VP of Dons. Fast forward three weeks later. My mother got a hold of the VP and he only agreed to go half, although her mechanic verified the broken handle was not due to routine use. The mechanic placed many calls to Dons and they refused to return any of them. My mom eventually spoke to the VP again and told him that she would just pay for it and that the business she would take away would make up what she spent. The VP became furious at this point. Buyer beware. This is the Russian roulette of car washes. They will not pay for the full damages if they break something. read more

I will not go back after this afternoon. Side view mirrors, rear view mirror, and vanity mirrors were DIRTIER after the car was washed and cleaned. Two BIG streaks inside the windshield were missed. The employees did not do a good job around the license plates. Looks awful. I did see them wipe around them. Apparently they were not paying attention to their jobs. A few minutes ago I brought up my floor mats and cleaned them. They are now drying in my bathtub. They were still filthy. That was $17.99 down the drain. Will not be returning. Now I need to go finish cleaning my car before I pick up some special people tomorrow. read more

Really great employees, very friendly, seemed to be above average employees for sure. They are also quick, and I feel like I got what I paid for. It's about what I'd expect for this kind of a service, people who are too picky for this car wash are probably too picky to do anything but wash themselves in my opinion. read more

awful service I got the 25.00 wash and when they returned my car to me wet mud in the back seat and still filthy didn't look like it had been vaccumed at all. also very large gauge marks from either the car wash it self or employees using wet rags with rocks in them. showed the foreman and he didn't do or say anything except they aren't responsible for damages done to the vehicle I will never go back there again !!!! read more
