I go there as often as my waistline allows for lunch, and the food is excellent. As you can imagine, the meat is top notch. The prices are also so low you'll think you've gone back in time (I think I paid $4.50 for a big double cheeseburger the last time I was there). Raber's also hosted and catered our rehearsal dinner. They did a wonderful job. The lighting they have in the space is really good for setting a party mood, there is a full bar, and the food was fantastic (we had tenderloin steaks and chicken). We got so many compliments from our guests. One super nice touch was they wrote a nice message/sign for my wife and I on the chalkboard wall, and then a bunch of our guests added to it with more messages wishing us well, making jokes, etc. It was great. I'll be back for lunch as often as possible, and if I ever need to host a big party again, Raber's will definitely be the first place I talk to.

They also have lamb and bison meats and parts of cows and pigs that are less often used. They got a lot of things out in the display cases and freezers. If there's something you don't see or need specifically, they are beyond happy to help. In my case I needed soup bones and beef shank, both things they don't have out in the front of the store and I know I won't find In grocery stores. They fired up the saw and cut the bone down into sizable segments and trimmed the shank for me. I thanked them a ton since they definitely went out of their way for me I felt. I honestly didn't pay attention to the price, I was just happy I got all the ingredients I needed, in addition I picked up a pack of bacon cheddar burgers. Everything was ~$20 at the end, so not bad in my opinion.

Arthur's largest sausage outlet!…read more Ladies, you will not believe the size of these Amish sausages! Men, comb your beard before you get in there and slip the young lady an extra Honest Abe. She'll cheerfully wrap your sausage right there and might even flash you her ankles. The applesauce brats were killer. The meatloaf was standard. We didn't have time to do a lot of shopping, but I could tell Dutch Valley Meats was the bacon around the Arthur Amish fillet. A wonderful shop in a town of wonderful folks. We'll be back.
